UPDATE: THANK YOU!!!! There are now 18 cats that can no longer reproduce after getting vetted yesterday. I just want to say a sincere THANK YOU for you folks who sent money into the TNR account yesterday. You saved my bacon.

There were probably 20 people who put in $20 bucks, and that added up. There were a few people who put in even more, and that added up even faster. We did get $1,030 donated yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE MY PEOPLE. :)

Thank you so much! I am going to put everybody's name in a raffle and gift somebody a nice bottle of wine as a way to say THANK YOU. I mean, seriously, I was in the weeds. Each and everyone of you, I sincerely and deeply appreciate your help yesterday.

URGENT, PLEASE HELP!!
We need a little help today. We need help paying today's vet bill. We are sending more cats then expected (vet is gonna chew my ass for going over our number of appts). But while we were out getting cats off our list, we ran into several pregnant kitties at Wabash Flats. And so we caught some extras and are sending some extras. Even though they weren't on our list, we weren't going to walk by them. We don't have the money in the account to pay for those extra, unexpected cats. We will be a couple hundred dollars short. I have to pay the bill at 5pm today on Oct 31st.

This is my Please, Jesus Help Me prayer. Just FYI.

If you could please help, it would be tremendously appreciated.
We bank at Beacon Credit Union as Miami Cats TNR. Cash or check can be dropped off.

This kitty is pure joy, but such a heart breaking situation. This is a Peru kitty picked up doing TNR. She was in too bad of condition for the vet to fix, he sent her back. So she needed an emergency foster home and gave birth a couple days later. And if you read the story, you can see the heartbreak and loss. It's not just sad for mommy kitty, but for the human's who foster. Please do the responsible thing, and get the cats you feed fixed. Heartbreak like this does not need to happen. It's Completely Unnecessary suffering. Thank you Ashley Stage and Paws, for helping this kitty.

This is a picture of the tragedies that happen all around us. This poor girl gave birth in a trap. She gave birth In the Car, on the way to the Vet. For you ladies out there who have given birth, I know you can feel her pain and suffering. And for those of you who've never given birth...just imagine being kidnapped by aliens, taken into a UFO, driven around everywhere, picked up and moved around repeatedly, scared out of your mind; and giving birth in a cage, where you cannot get comfortable, you cannot get clean, you cannot take care of your babies. This does NOT need to happen. If you start feeding a cat, and it sticks around..please spend the $50 to get it fixed, and send it with us to the vet for a spay/neuter. We financially cannot afford to fix every cat all at once. We offer 40 $50 spots a month. And then do 100% pays on colonies as we are able to pay for them. Thank you to DCS Fixers for taking this urgent need new mommy in to foster. I mean, can you imagine how scared and how much extra suffering this kitty went through? This is completely preventable with just a little bit of effort on your part.

Oakdale colony update: We now have 32 kittens, 1 new mommy in foster, and 11 adults fixed and returned. Please, Please do not let your 'cat situation' get this out of control. If you are feeding cats, please do what you have to do to get them fixed. This is not fun. This is not easy. This takes a tremendous amount of time, effort, and money. They do not have to be 'your' cats to get them fixed.

Our most recent colony in Peru Oakdale area: 11 adults fixed, one very pregnant female in a trap going to the vet on Thursday, and a total of 25 kittens taken FROM ONE YARD..... AND WE AREN'T FINISHED!! We haven't gotten them all yet!

How does this happen? You see a hungry cat, and you feed it. You don't fix them. Sometimes it because you can't afford it. Sometimes it's because you can't catch or touch them. Sometimes you think "It's not my cat". It snowballs, And then AVALANCHES to a point you cannot dig yourself out without thousands of dollars and serious help. You realize you are paying hundreds of dollars in cat food and dearly wish you'd have gotten that first cat fixed. Please learn from other people's mistakes! IF YOU FEED IT, FIX IT!!! If you don't, who else is going to?

These colony cats were 100% funded with donations. Please continue to support Miamicats. We fix as many as we can, and as quickly as we can. We run nonstop vet trips with $50 co-pays. There are financial resources available if you need additional financial aid. There is NO REASON except LAZINESS to not get a cat fixed.
