West Avenue Neighborhood Association - Wavna305 A neighborhood organization located in South Beach on the bay side from 5th to 17th Street. We welcome residents, owners, renters, business owners.

The purpose of WAvNA is to build community; provide a communication link to the neighborhood about news/issues impacting the area or with government and other groups; offer a forum to discuss neighborhood issues to engage Association members and leadership and other parties to advocate for positive outcomes; and empower residents and businesses to work together and with other groups to improve our neighborhood and quality of life.

Regarding the proposed legislation by JDS Development Group for the redevelopment of1250 West Avenue and the related floor area and height bonuses, the WAvNA Board ofDirectors requires additional information from the Developer and the City and feedbackfrom affected residents and others before taking any position on these matters. Thelegislative process should provide additional information and feedback to inform adecision. The Board notes that it appreciates the Public Benefits being proposed by JDS inconnection with the redevelopment.
