When Art Becomes a Language of Happiness
There are moments when happiness is not explained, it is expressed.
In Jaipur, something meaningful unfolded. Through a Painting Competition and Exhibition on Happiness, artists from 14 academic institutions and organizations came together to explore what happiness means, not as a concept, but as a lived experience.
From May 9 to 13, at Gandhi Vatika, Central Park, more than 150 visitors witnessed these expressions—stories of joy, resilience, connection, and inner peace translated into color, texture, and form. This initiative by our partners and Catalysts in ST Foundation, supported by Kogta Foundation, is more than an exhibition. It is a spark of consciousness.
Because when young people are given spaces to feel, reflect, and create, something shifts. Art becomes a doorway, not only to self-expression, but to awareness, empathy, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be human.
At the World Happiness Foundation, we recognize and celebrate these initiatives. They are seeds. And from these seeds, new ecosystems of happiness begin to grow.
Here are the first 12 Artworks of this wonderful Inniciative.
These are not isolated moments—they are part of a living ecosystem of initiatives unfolding throughout the year. Each one a spark, each one a step.
And in October, we gather.
