Volunteers needed! The City of Miami Beach is looking for volunteers to help homeless, free-roaming community cats through the Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return (TNVR) method. In addition, SoBe Cats is looking for volunteers to work at the Kitty Campus adoption facility and/or to be a part of a feeding program. Miss Calico is an older, friendly community cat who has spent years living outdoors. Despite her feeder’s many attempts to bring her inside, she prefers life on her own terms. 🖤🧡
Recently, she started having trouble eating, so we brought her in for an exam.
Her mouth was a disaster. While steroids, antibiotics, and pain medication are helping for now, she desperately needs a dental procedure to relieve her pain and treat the infection.

When Chirpie came to SoBe Cats, she was emaciated, covered in painful skin lesions, and struggling to survive. Her little body had been through so much, but she never stopped fighting.

With medical care, nutritious food, and the love of our dedicated volunteers and fosters, Chirpie began to heal…one day at a time.

Today, Chirpie is healthy, happy, and thriving. And the best part?

Momma Julia 🤍 Found in terrible shape alongside her kitten — skinny, covered in mange, and desperately needing help — she somehow found one of our volunteers and asked for a chance. ✨

With love and care, Momma Julia blossomed into this beautiful girl with a soft coat, striking yellow eyes, and the calmest personality. She’s the kind of kitty ready to snuggle beside you on the couch during a lazy afternoon. ✨
