Urban Sketchers Miami Urban Sketchers is a network of artists around the world who draw the cities where they live and travel to. All skill levels welcomed.

We are Urban Sketchers Miami, a group of individuals that meet together around the Miami area to draw and sketch on location. We currently meet once a month, typically the third Sunday of every month. What to expect: We gather at the meeting spot and wait for everyone to arrive. Then we quickly walk around the location to find a nice perspective to sketch. Towards the end of the event, we gather again and share our sketches with each other. Everyone brings their own sketchbook, materials, and supplies. Sometimes we split up and sketch different views, but everyone is still in close proximity. If you are new to urban sketching, then you are more then welcome to tag along and sketch side-by-side with a team member. We want to help in any way we can.

Although we will have our weekly meet up at the Coral Gables Fall Festival, this weekend is also the Miami Pen Show in Ft. Lauderdale. I know many of our members are into pen & ink sketching so I am putting this link here for those of you interested.
