Urban Sketchers Miami Urban Sketchers is a network of artists around the world who draw the cities where they live and travel to. All skill levels welcomed.

We are Urban Sketchers Miami, a group of individuals that meet together around the Miami area to draw and sketch on location. We currently meet once a month, typically the third Sunday of every month. What to expect: We gather at the meeting spot and wait for everyone to arrive. Then we quickly walk around the location to find a nice perspective to sketch. Towards the end of the event, we gather a

gain and share our sketches with each other. Everyone brings their own sketchbook, materials, and supplies. Sometimes we split up and sketch different views, but everyone is still in close proximity. If you are new to urban sketching, then you are more then welcome to tag along and sketch side-by-side with a team member. We want to help in any way we can.

Fairchild Gardens is hosting their annual Mango Festival on June 13 & 14th. It costs $28 per adult ($21 per senior). Would you be interested in having an Urban Sketchers meet up there or not? Please reply Yes or No to this post so I can evaluate interest.

Urban Sketchers Miami enjoyed their time at the Lowe Art Museum on the UM campus. Join us this Saturday, May 16, 10am at Le Parc Cafe, 997 N. Greenway Drive, Coral Gables. See you there!

WARNING! University of Miami is holding their graduation ceremony this morning. There is a parking garage near the museum that they direct you to. Use that and walk to the museum.
