Our founder and Artistic Director, R. David New, has released his new memoir, The Unthinkable: Turning Tragedy into Triumph.

Through an extraordinary personal journey of loss, resilience, and rediscovery, David found a greater purpose: advocating for a world where disability does not define ability and everyone has the opportunity to participate, create, and thrive.

That same vision helped inspire Power Access and the South Beach Jazz Festival, where music serves as a platform for accessibility, awareness, and inclusion.

🎨 Something NEW is coming to the South Beach Jazz Festival!

In 2027, we’re bringing even more art to Lincoln Road with an expanded Visual Arts Program on Sunday, January 17, and we’re looking for artists to be part of it.

The Call to Artists is officially OPEN for visual artists, arts organizations and creative practitioners interested in exhibiting and selling their work or creating live demonstrations, installations, workshops, interactive experiences, disability arts and more.

The Faena Jazz Series is pleased to be opening its ninth season with the award-winning British jazz vocalist Emma Smith. One of the most compelling voices on today’s international stage. Emma’s many accolades include first finalist at the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and the UK government’s Parliamentary Jazz Award forJazz Vocalist of the Year. Her recent album, Bitter Orange, has been met with widespread critical acclaim and over a million streams.
