Facility Announcement
Access Control Changes for Enhanced Safety

To strengthen the security of our facility and ensure the safety of all members and participants, we are implementing updated access control measures throughout the building:

New access control sensors have been installed across the facility including our classroom/indoor areas and our perimeter outside doors.
Primary doors will now remain locked as we implement.
Your key fob is required to access the facility and doors associated with member activities.
If you do not have a fob please press the button on the camera next to perimeter doors, to call the front desk, to gain entry.
Please keep your key fob with you at all times, as doors automatically lock once closed.

These updates help us maintain a secure environment by ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter member‑only and program‑specific areas

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Week seven at Camp Klurman was all about teamwork, camp spirit, and building community! Campers jumped into an exciting week of Color Wars, proudly representing the Red and Blue teams in friendly competitions that kicked off with an unforgettable powder color war full of laughter and excitement. Beyond the Color War fun, some of our campers enjoyed a trip to Topgolf and the Marlin’s game, while others took advantage of the beautiful weather by playing soccer on the field and basketball in the gym.

This week’s Jewish value, Kehillah (Community), came to life as campers cheered one another on, worked together, and strengthened friendships through every activity. It’s a wonderful reminder that camp is about so much more than games—it’s about creating a place where everyone belongs.

There’s still time to join the fun! With two exciting weeks of camp remaining before school begins, Camp Klurman is the perfect place for children to stay active, make new friends, and create lasting summer memories. Register today and finish the summer with us!

Stop at the waters edge > Call for permission > Enter after permission is given. Safety habits taught with calm repetition build lifelong awareness.

Gentle voices and soft hands build emotional safety. Children learn best through trust not pressure. Autonomy is built not forced.

Let go of expectations. Appreciate the journey. Celebrate their effort and progress. Growth is individual and meaningful.

After the 3rd birthday many children begin to take independent breaths. They will begin to travel further without needing the wall. Each child will develop at their own pace. At this age they can now extent their arms to align their elbows with their head. Allowing them the leverage needed to lift the head and breathe as they swim.

Swim classes help with balance and coordination. They become more aware of their body and motor functions. Swimming helps brains development through movement and repetition. Most importantly they will build a joyful connection with the water.

Kids rest well after a great class. Make sure to refuel and rest!

Week six at Camp Klurman was packed with creativity, learning, and Jewish pride! We were thrilled to welcome the Robotics Team from Yerucham for two exciting days of hands-on innovation. Our campers explored new technology by creating amazing projects with 3D drawing pens and learning about drones, making for an unforgettable experience that sparked imagination and curiosity.

We also celebrated Israel with a day full of blue-and-white spirit as campers and staff proudly dressed in their favorite Israel-themed attire. It was the perfect way to embrace this week's Jewish value, Ahavat Israel (Love for the Jewish People), reminding us of the special connection we share with Israel and one another.

Summer fun is still going strong, and there's still time to join the Camp Klurman family. Register today and be part of the excitement before the summer comes to an end!

Camp Klurman is cruising through an amazing summer, and week five brought even more excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories! Our campers showed off their creativity during our fun-filled Tourist Dress-Up Day, arriving decked out in vacation gear and ready for a day of adventure with their camp friends.

This week, campers also explored the Jewish value of Anavah (Humility), discovering that being humble means celebrating one another's successes, showing respect, and recognizing that everyone has something special to contribute. It's been inspiring to watch our campers encourage each other, grow together, and continue building a caring camp community.
