Autism Speaks and One Main Financial Invites YOU!

We are hosting an upcoming webinar on Thursday, October 22nd at 1EST with OneMain Financial and hope you will join us!

We are grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to bring important conversations and resources to autistic individuals and their families.

Next Thursday, we’re bringing together an incredible group of voices for Building Financial Futures: Planning for Autistic Adults and Families, presented by OneMain Financial.

What makes this conversation especially meaningful is that each of our speakers brings both professional expertise and personal experience as a parent of an adult with autism. Josh Cobbs, Stuart Spielman and Bob George will explore the many considerations that go into planning for the financial future of autistic adults - from employment, budgeting, credit and financial independence to lifelong support, benefits and long-term financial security.

As we recognize and , and look ahead to in November, these conversations are more important than ever. Every individual and family has a different journey, and having access to information, resources and perspectives can make such a difference in planning for the future.

Florida advocates: Protect disabilities services in your community!

Right now, Florida legislators are meeting about the state budget – and together, we can ensure they increase Direct Support Professionals (DSP) wages. Because when there are not enough DSPs, people may not get the help they need.
