Friends of South Pointe Elementary

Friends of South Pointe Elementary FOSPE is comprised of friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues who share a core belief: our community is what we make it.

The FOSPE Children & Education Foundation enriches the educational experience of our elementary school children by funding additional teachers and support staff and by delivering innovative extracurricular programs. Friends of South Pointe Elementary (FOSPE) Children & Education Foundation was established in 2014 and is a 501(c)3 designated non-profit, registered with The Miami Foundati

Our parent-driven, volunteer organization aims to raise funds and work in close cooperation with South Pointe Elementary (SPE) Public School’s Principal/Faculty/Administration to expand curricular enrichment, educational initiatives and classroom support for the benefit of the children of SPE. Our Goal: To give EVERY child the opportunity to succeed in a safe, professional, caring, and compassionate school environment while empowering them with productive learning to help them achieve success in life.

Say hello to FRIENDS Field, a gift to local children from the Friends of South Pointe Elementary (FOSPE).

100% of this 1,350 square-foot athletic field was made possible by donations from friends in our community, as well as a generous grant from the City of Miami Beach, championed by commissioner Steven Meiner.

Get your first glimpse of the field at Spooky Night on Thursday, Oct 26 and be on the lookout for more exciting events upcoming at FRIENDS Field.
