Happy World Sea Turtle Day 🐢

For over 100 million years, sea turtles have navigated our oceans. Today, 5 of the world’s 7 sea turtle species face extinction due to threats created by humans— plastic pollution, entanglement in fishing gear, bycatch, poaching, boat strikes, habitat loss, and climate change.

Every piece of trash removed, every responsible choice made on the water, and every action taken to protect our oceans gives these ancient mariners a better chance at survival.

This World Sea Turtle Day, let’s be the generation that helps keep them swimming for the next 100 million years. 🐢🌊💙
