Our week kicked off with a campaign aimed at providing immediate cash assistance to displaced families facing the most urgent needs. We also distributed warm blankets, along with essential supplies like water and dates.

During our mission, we had the opportunity to reconnect with families we assisted last week and to meet new people. One of the most heartwarming moments was meeting Amina, a disabled girl with an incredible personality and a positive outlook that deeply moved our team, bringing tears to our eyes.

Our commitment to helping those in need remains unwavering. We will continue reaching out to both familiar and new families affected by these challenges in Morocco. 🇲🇦💪⛑️

Mr. Hassan's story is truly heart-wrenching. A few days ago, during one of our deployments to provide essential supplies to his village, we had the privilege of meeting him. He confided in our Director Hayat, sharing the devastating news of losing his wife and children in the recent earthquake, which had completely demolished his home.

Yesterday, as we were distributing warm clothes, shoes, sandals, dates, water and blankets to displaced victims in the village, we made a special visit to check on Mr. Hassan, who is 69 years of age. We spent time consoling him and assured him that we would maintain ongoing support, ensuring he has everything he needs. Currently, we are actively working on coordinating housing solutions not only for him but also for others affected by this tragedy.

Pendant la livraison d'environ 50 sacs de nourriture et de fournitures, notre deuxième équipe de secours (une opération plus petite) opérant dans la vieille ville de Marrakech a eu le privilège de rencontrer l'icône franco-marocaine . Il était présent pour donner du sang, apporter un soutien essentiel et sensibiliser à la gravité de la situation et à l'urgence d'agir ⛑️🇲🇦.

Grand Merci à nos bénévoles Aicha et Habiba, et à M. Abdelmajid pour avoir facilité le transport de tout.

Un merci spécial à pour son soutien continu et sa gentillesse envers nos courageux membres de l'équipe, qui ont eux-mêmes subi des pertes et un traumatisme émotionnel significatif mais qui ont toujours la résilience de retrousser leurs manches et d'aider ceux qui en ont le plus besoin 🙏👏.

While delivering approximately 50 bags of food and supplies, our second relief team (a smaller operation) operating in the old city of Marrakech had the privilege of encountering French/Moroccan icon . He was present to donate blood, provide crucial support, and raise awareness about the severity of the situation and the urgent need for action ⛑️🇲🇦.

Our dedicated team of volunteers was among the first to reach the most remote and severely affected villages following the earthquake in the Atlas Mountains. We provided essential food, supplies, and medication, complemented by a small medical team that offered critical care to children and adults injured during the seismic tragedy on Friday night.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our fearless Relief Director in Morocco, Hayat Akrid, and all our volunteers for their incredible efforts. We're also grateful to those who generously contributed to support our mission.

Tomorrow, we will return to the same villages and others with additional supplies and medical assistance. Our commitment remains steadfast for as long as it's required.
