We are pleased to announce that The Franklin County Children's Task Force in partnership with RSU 10, was awarded a new 21st Century Grant for the next 4 years to provide free afterschool and summer programming in our district. This is a huge win for RSU 10. Although, we are no longer known as WFKA, our mission remains the same.

We will be starting our afterschool program at Rumford and Meroby on September 8th, 2025. This is free for all families in RSU 10.

Our Story

WFKA is the afterschool/summer program provider at 2 schools- Rumford Elementary School and Meroby Elementary School. The grant is administered by RSU 10. It is funded partly by a 21st CCLC Grant with support of school, parents and community.
