Today, Lion Vice President Joshua Barron, who also serves as Mexia's City Manager, spoke to our club about the future of Mexia City Park.

As the City prepares a grant application through Texas Parks & Wildlife, your input is needed. By completing the community survey, you'll help identify the improvements residents want most and strengthen the City's grant application.

Whether it's playgrounds, walking trails, sports courts, splash pads, picnic areas, or other amenities, now is the time to share your ideas.

Many thanks to Stacey L Bush for inviting Stephanie Funderburg, MSSLC Director and Misty Samuels, Assistant Director to present the Lions Club program yesterday, Tuesday, July 14th. They shared information about the history of the school/ living center in this area and how it serves the needs of so many and works together, with the community.
