Last night at the Woodbridge Elks Lodge Arthur Flaherty (Metuchen Police Chief) received the citizen of the year award. Congratulations!

Another great day to be an ELK… at Campbell Elementary School.

170 3rd grade students, nine classrooms participated in the Karen Minutella Reading Initiative during Reading Across America Week. Karen loved kids and loved reading to them! All students received a copy of the book Freckle Juice by Judy Blume to take home and finish the remaining chapters. So much fun interacting with the kids!

Special thanks to the Metuchen PBA Local #60 who fully funded this amazing initiative, also, Doctor C., all of our 3rd grade teachers for allowing us to share this program again with the kids!

Exciting news!!

Our own Jim (Jimmer) Piovoso is headed to the state championship chili cookoff on February 15th at 2pm at the Woodbridge Lodge. All are welcome! So, if you're not busy, come on out and show your support. If possible, wear Metuchen Lodge apparel.
