We wanted to share this GoFundMe for the family of Deepak, a Metuchen resident whose sudden passing has left his wife, Reshu, and daughter, Aadya, facing an incredibly difficult time.

The 18th Annual FUCE 5K was an incredible success, and it's all thanks to YOU — our runners, walkers, rollers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters.

🌞 From the early morning setup to the final participant crossing the finish line, the energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit were unforgettable.

💙 Together, we honored the FUCE legacy, supported families in need, and demonstrated the incredible strength of our community.

🚗 FUCE 5K PARKING INFORMATION 🚗

With hundreds of participants and volunteers joining us on race day, we encourage local families to walk, bike, or carpool whenever possible. 👟

If you're driving, there are several parking options available in downtown Metuchen:

🅿️ Pearl Street Parking Garage
• Enter from Center Street
• Free for the first hour

🅿️ Center Street Lot
• Next to the Metuchen Senior Center
• 15 Center Street

🅿️ Center Street East Lot
• Across from the Senior Center
• Partially used for race check-in

🅿️ New Street Lot
• Accessible from Pearl Street off Middlesex Avenue

🅿️ Halsey Lot
• Accessible from Halsey Street or Wernik Place
• Easy walk to downtown via the path along the train tracks

💡 Parking is FREE on Sundays in Metuchen, with the exception of the Pearl Street Parking Garage, which is free for the first hour.

The wait is almost over! Join us this Sunday, June 21st for the 18th Annual FUCE 5K. Rain or shine, we'll see you at the starting line! ☀️☁️

⏰ Schedule
🏁 Timed 5K Run: 8:30 AM
🚶 Fun Run / Walk / Roll: Begins once runners have cleared the starting line

📍 Check-In
🕖 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Center Street Parking Lot
(across from the Metuchen Senior Center, 15 Center Street, Metuchen)

👕 Family Supporters
If you haven't received your Family Supporter package before race day, please arrive by 8:00 AM and find a volunteer in an ITAB shirt for assistance.

⚠️ Safety Reminder
Children participating on bikes or skates should not be registered for the timed event. For everyone's safety, please wait until the runners have cleared the starting line before entering the course.

🏡 Our certified course begins and ends in downtown Metuchen and travels through local neighborhoods before returning to the finish line.
