Women are incredible.

When I heard Jordy was nearly three months pregnant while competing at that level, my first thought was simple:

Superwoman.

I found out I was pregnant with Maddie while playing professionally in Japan. I wanted to keep playing, but a blood clot in my uterus forced me to stop.

Years later, one of the most empowering things I’ve ever done was come out of retirement and train for the Olympics with a 10-month-old and a 2½-year-old at home.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve been told that having a baby is a roadblock.

It’s not.

For so many women, it’s the beginning of a version of themselves they never knew existed.

Motherhood doesn’t make you weaker.
It makes you tougher.
More resilient.
More aware.
More grateful.
More driven.

You learn how much you’re actually capable of when there are little eyes watching you chase something hard.

To every mama out there chasing a dream while raising babies:

Keep going.

Your story isn’t over.

It might just be getting started. ❤️

🌅 Live for Something Bigger

It’s easy to focus on the scoreboard, the achievements, the recognition, and the goals we hope to accomplish.

But as followers of Christ, our greatest goal isn’t success.

Our greatest goal is to glorify God.

The way you compete.

The way you treat others.

The way you respond to adversity.

The way you handle victory.

The way you handle defeat.

All of it is an opportunity to reflect Him.

People may never read a Bible, but they will read your life.

They will watch how you respond when things don’t go your way.

They will notice whether your faith is real when the pressure is on.

Today, let your words encourage.

Let your actions inspire.

Let your attitude reflect Christ.

And let everything you do point people to Him.

🧠 Mental Health Minute

Living with purpose brings peace.

When your identity is rooted in Christ rather than performance, success or failure no longer defines you.

Your purpose remains the same:

Honor God. Love Others. Keep Going.

🙏 Wednesday Prayer

Lord, let my life honor and glorify You in all I say and do. Help my words bring encouragement, my actions reflect Your love, and my attitude point others toward You. Whether I experience success or struggle today, help me remain faithful to You. Use my life as a testimony of Your goodness and grace. May everything I do bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🌅 Start the Week with a Game Plan

Every successful athlete has a game plan.

Every team studies the playbook.

Every journey begins with a direction.

So why would we start our week without first seeking the One who already knows the outcome?

Before the schedules fill up…
Before the challenges come…
Before the distractions arrive…

Spend time in Scripture and prayer.

When you seek God first, your path becomes clearer.

Your purpose becomes stronger.

Your goals become aligned with His will.

God may not reveal every step at once, but He will always give you enough light for the next step.

The more time you spend with Him, the easier it becomes to recognize His direction.

Don’t just make your plans this week.

Invite God into them.

Let Him lead.

Let Him guide.

Let Him prepare you for what lies ahead.

🧠 Mental Health Minute

Starting your week with prayer creates peace before pressure arrives.

A mind focused on God is better prepared for life’s challenges.

Pause.
Pray.
Prepare.

🙏 Monday Prayer

Father God, as I begin this new week, help me seek You first. Open my heart to Your Word and my ears to Your guidance. Show me the path You have prepared for me and give me the wisdom to follow it. Help me trust Your plan when I cannot see the whole picture. Let my goals align with Your purpose and my actions bring glory to You. Fill me with peace, confidence, and direction for the week ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Peter 5:7
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

🌅 Friday Reflection

As another week comes to a close, take a moment to thank God for the blessings you’ve received—both the ones you noticed and the ones you may have overlooked.

Thank Him for the victories.

Thank Him for the opportunities.

Thank Him for the people who encourage you.

But don’t stop there.

Bring Him your burdens.

Bring Him your frustrations.

Bring Him your disappointments.

Bring Him your fears.

God never intended for you to carry those things alone.

When we surrender our worries and trust Him with our struggles, He uses those very trials to build something powerful within us—resilience.

The struggles that try to break you often become the tools God uses to strengthen you.

Every challenge is an opportunity to grow.

Every setback is an opportunity to trust.

Every burden surrendered is another reminder that God is in control.

🧠 Mental Health Minute

Don’t carry what God is asking you to release.

Talk to Him.
Pray through it.
Trust Him with it.

A lighter heart is often the result of a surrendered burden.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for every blessing You have poured into my life. Thank You for walking beside me through every victory and every challenge. Today I give You my worries, frustrations, burdens, and fears. Help me trust You with what I cannot control. Use every trial to strengthen my faith, build resilience in my heart, and draw me closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🐓 Friday Reminder

Gratitude changes your perspective.
Surrender builds resilience.

Proverbs 24:16
“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.”

When Life and the Game Knock You Down

Nobody likes to fall.

Athletes don’t enjoy slumps.
Students don’t enjoy failures.
Families don’t enjoy hardships.

But sometimes God allows us to be knocked down—not to defeat us, but to develop us.

Resilience isn’t built when everything is going your way.

Resilience is built in the struggle.

It’s built when you strike out and come back for your next at-bat.

It’s built when life doesn’t make sense, but you keep trusting God anyway.

It’s built when you choose faith over fear and perseverance over quitting.

Every challenge is an opportunity for God to strengthen your character, deepen your faith, and prepare you for what He has planned next.

When you find yourself down, don’t focus on the fall.

Focus on the hand reaching down to lift you up.

God never promised we wouldn’t face trials.

He promised we would never face them alone.

🐓 Mental Health Minute

A setback does not define you.

A bad day does not define you.

A failure does not define you.

What defines you is your willingness to get back up and keep moving forward.

Give yourself grace.
Trust the process.
Keep showing up.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, when life knocks me down, remind me that You are still working. Help me trust You in the struggles and learn the lessons You are teaching me. Give me the courage to rise again, the strength to keep going, and the faith to grab Your hand when I feel weak. Thank You for never leaving me and for lifting me up every time I fall. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
