This Friday, June 19 the C.O.P.E. food pantry will be closed due to the Federal holiday of Juneteenth . The pantry will be at Joppa and Brookport on June 20 for the monthly distribution. The pantry will re-open on June 22 at 1013 North Avenue in Metropolis at our regular hours , 9:00 am - 3:00 pm .

Monday , May 25 the C.O.P.E. food pantry will be CLOSED in observance of the Memorial Day holiday . We will resume our regular hours (9:00 am - 3:00 pm ) on Wednesday the 27th of May .

With the Massac Unit District Schools being closed for Friday Jan. 30 the C.O.P.E. food pantry will also remained closed on Friday Jan' 30 . We will re-open on Monday Feb. 2 at our regular hours of 9:00 am till 3:00 pm . Thank you

With the snow/ice still hampering travel , the C.O.P.E. food pantry will be closed Wednesday 1/27/26 . We will advise about whether the pantry will be open on Friday 1/30/26 .

Beginning in February the following changes to the schedule of the C.O.P.E. food pantry distribution will be made . C.O.P.E. will be in Brookport on the THIRD SATURDAY from 1 pm till 3pm. Hopefully this will allow more people to utilize the pantry . We will be moving from the present location to the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church. The fellowship hall is located on the North end of the church building with the entrance doors facing East .
