With the Massac Unit District Schools being closed for Friday Jan. 30 the C.O.P.E. food pantry will also remained closed on Friday Jan' 30 . We will re-open on Monday Feb. 2 at our regular hours of 9:00 am till 3:00 pm . Thank you

With the snow/ice still hampering travel , the C.O.P.E. food pantry will be closed Wednesday 1/27/26 . We will advise about whether the pantry will be open on Friday 1/30/26 .

Due to the snow and extreme cold temperatures , the C.O.P.E. food pantry will be closed on Monday , Jan 26 . We will update the possible closings as the situation progresses .

Beginning in February the following changes to the schedule of the C.O.P.E. food pantry distribution will be made . C.O.P.E. will be in Brookport on the THIRD SATURDAY from 1 pm till 3pm. Hopefully this will allow more people to utilize the pantry . We will be moving from the present location to the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church. The fellowship hall is located on the North end of the church building with the entrance doors facing East .

Remember that the pantry will be filling out the information cards on ALL PATRONS beginning January 2, 2026 . Bring proof of residence .

On December 1 the pantry will begin distribution of the Christmas Holiday Bags. The bags will contain the makings of a holiday meal . This will be in addition to the regular monthly foodstuffs that pantry provides.

In observance of the Labor Day holiday on Sept. 1, the C.O.P.E. food pantry will be closed on that day . We will reopen Sept. 3rd at our regular hours , (9:00 am-3:00 pm).

This month the C.O.P.E. food pantry will be in Brookport on the second Thursday of the month instead of the third Thursday. Due to third Thursday being a Federal Holiday. The time 9:00-12:00 will remain the same .
