You're With Us! creates inclusion opportunities with able-bodied college groups for young adults(18+) with disabilities Sometimes we know why, often we don’t.

Children are born with disabilities that are outside of their control. What we are left with is the fact that something happened to a child, which profoundly affects them. It has made them somewhat different and has excluded them from normal social opportunities. These are the people we need to help the most. You’re With Us! allows these young adults to have special moments that few of them get to experience. These young adults have the potential to influence those around them -- a special ability to open people up to compassion, empathy and leadership. People are healthiest when they feel safe, supported, and connected to others in their neighborhoods and communities. helps fill the gap for young adults with disabilities and their families. Not only can the gap be filled by a sense of belonging, it can also be transformed into a trampoline, allowing the individual to bound into adulthood with the essential social skills and leadership tools to live a full life.

This year, we’re celebrating 10 incredible years of You’re With Us a decade filled with friendship, connection, inclusion, and so many memories that mean the world to us.

Our first annual You’re With Us Golf Tournament was such a beautiful way to celebrate this milestone. ⛳️ We’re so grateful to everyone who came out, shared in the joy, and helped make the day so special.

Ten years of making a difference wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible people who have believed in our mission and stood beside us along the way. Thank you for being part of our You’re With Us family. 💙

On Monday, our YWU Mid-Day group visited the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where our tour guides invited us to think about what “power” means to each of us.

One exhibit featured a podium, and Dale stepped behind it and shared how she felt!

We had such a wonderful day exploring the museum, followed by lunch outdoors at the picnic tables. A beautiful day of community, creativity, and connection! 🫶🏻

Being a student means juggling so much at once: classes, assignments, work, friends, and everything else life throws your way. At times, it can feel overwhelming, stressful, and exhausting. You may even find yourself wondering whether the time and effort you’re putting into everything is really making a difference. We want you to know that it is. You matter. 💛
To our families and participants, our students are heroes. The time you spend showing up, listening, connecting, and simply being there can have a much bigger impact than you may realize. What might feel like “just a few hours” to you can mean friendship, confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging to someone else.
But you don’t have to take our word for it. Below are some of the things families and participants have shared about the incredible difference our students have made in their lives! 💙

☀️ Last Summer Mid-Day at Northeastern! 💙

We wrapped up the summer with an afternoon full of creativity, connection, and plenty of fun! From theater games and making paper collages and greeting cards to enjoying pizza, lemonade, and doughnuts, it was the perfect way to celebrate a summer well spent. 🎨🍕🍋🍩

Ending the program on a high note with lots of smiles and memories! ✨

Our group had so much fun watching Space Jam on the grass at MIT Open Space! 🍿🎬☀️ Some of us grabbed dinner to enjoy during the movie, soaked up the beautiful weather, and shared lots of laughs. It was the perfect summer evening spent together enjoying the outdoors. 💙
