"GOD IS A GIVER"

Never forget where you came from. God is your Creator. Acts 20:35; "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive." 1Corinthians 11:1; "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." We are supposed to be imitators of Christ." God is a giver. James 1:17; "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." Everything you have is from God. Romans 1:21; "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened." You should give God the credit and give thanks. Job 1:21; "And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." Job had limited understanding. The Lord is always a giver. He loves you. He will never take anything from you. Only the devil takes. 2Corinthians 5:7; (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) Study and meditate on God's Word. God's glory is everywhere. 1Peter 5:8-9; 8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." 2Timothy 2:15; "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Acts 10:28; "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Jesus went about giving and He never took anything away. Genesis 1:28; "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." God is a multiplier. God wants you to be a giver. Matthew 14:15-21; 15. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him,saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. 16. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.17. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves and two fishes. 18. He said, Bring them hither to me. 19. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 20. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. 21. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children." God wants to bless us and He wants us to bless others. 2Corinthians 9:6-11; 6. But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9. (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God." Philippians 4:19; "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Psalms 50:7-15; 7. Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. 8. I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. 9. I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds. 10. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. 12. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. 13. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? 14. Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15. And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me." God owns everything. You have the anointing of God. The devil cannot touch you unless you give him permission. He was defeated two thousand years ago. Deuteronomy 8:18; "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." Luke 6:38; "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."

"GOD GIVES AND GOD TAKES AWAY"

Job 1:20-21; 20. Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, 21. And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." This is a misinterpretation of Scripture. God does not give and then take away from you. You must understand God's character. God loves you and He is a giver not a taker. It is the devil who takes things. We are ambassadors of God. We learn so we can teach others. God is loving, merciful and gracious. To know the Father, you must know Christ Jesus. John 14:9; "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?" Hebrews 1:3; "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" 1John 4:8,16; 8. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 16. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." John 10:10-11; 10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." A God who loves so much, He would give His life, surely would not take from you. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." You are saved through grace by faith. Ephesians 2:8-9; 8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9. Not of works, lest any man should boast." God is the giver of life and blessings. Christ came to show us the Father. Hebrews 1:2-3; 2. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" God never killed anyone. 3John 2; "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." Genesis 39:2; "And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian." Acts 10:38; "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." The mission of Christ Jesus is to give life. You must know God's character. John 3:16; "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This is God's character. He gives not takes. 1Peter 2:24; "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." Luke 4:18; "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised," Hebrews 12:6; "For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth." Chastening is training. He loves you so He will not beat you up or take anything from you.

"THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OLD TESTAMENT AND NEW TESTAMENT"

You must understand the difference between the Old and New Testaments. Deuteronomy 28:1-2; 1. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2. And all these blessings shall come on thee,and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God." This shows that God's blessings were conditional. In the Old Testament was the law. Also known as the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments were brought down to the Israelites by Moses from Mount Sinai. The law was condemning. If you broke one of them, you were guilty of all. James 2:10; "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." But in the New Testament of Grace, all of your sins, past, present and future sins were forgiven. They were nailed to the Cross with Jesus two thousand years ago. But make no mistake, Grace which is another name for Christ is not a license to sin. You still should glorify God in everything you say and do. Colossians 3:17; "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." In the Old Testament, animals without blemish were sacrificed on an altar once a year for the forgiveness of sins. But in the New Testament, Jesus was the perfect sacrifice. He died once for all. Hebrews 10:11-13; 11. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12. But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13. From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool." There is more about animal sacrifices in the book of Leviticus. Titus 2:11; "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men." The New Testament is better than the Old Testament. Jesus finished everything on the Cross. John 19:30; "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." Jesus gave us everything we need. 2Peter 1:3; "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:" You have already received salvation and healing. 1Peter 2:24; "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." Most people will believe a doctor's diagnosis more than God's Word. Be careful of what you say and do. The devil has no control over you except what you give him. Jesus is our advocate. 1John 2:1-2; 1. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." There was a Shunammite woman whose son died. But she said, It is well. (2Kings 4:8-37). The devil gets into your life by deception. He deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden. You must have faith and trust in God. Hebrews 11:1,6; 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Faith is now. Study God's Word everyday. 2Timothy 2:15; "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 1Corinthians 1:27; "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise: and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;" We are new creations when we are born again and believe in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. 2Corinthians 5:17; "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Our spirit is new and we continue to grow in God. Ephesians 2:11-13; 11. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh; who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ." Before we accepted Christ, we lived in the flesh. Now we are one with Christ. 1Corinthians 6:17; "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." Ephesians 4:22-24; 22. That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." Put away your old ways of speaking. Renew your mind to speak positivity and use God's Word. 1Peter 1:23; "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Our spirit is incorruptible. We will continue to be renewed as we stay in the Word of God. You are renewed daily. You are no longer under the law. Romans 6:14; "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." Galatians 3:24-26; 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus."

"FINANCIAL FREEDOM 2"

Many people complicate the things of God. When all they have to do is believe in Him, have trust and faith in Him. Financial freedom is in the Bible. It is most important in your life. It is taught more in the Bible than salvation. We must understand it. Everything belongs to God. You must be a good manager and a good steward. Psalms 24:1; "The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Luke 16:10-13; 10. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. 11. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12. And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? 13. No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." God wants you to take care of things. Be wise in your spending. God blesses you so you can bless others. God is your source. Deuteronomy 8:18; "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." Outside of Christ Jesus, there is poverty. In Christ Jesus you have access to wealth. 1John 2:27; "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." Matthew 28:18; "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." You have peace when you have financial freedom. Romans 8:11; "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." Ephesians 3:20-21; 20. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." Genesis 39:2; "And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian." Joseph did everything God's way and he was prosperous. You receive power from the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8; "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Isaiah 41:8; " But thou Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend." Abraham was God's friend. We need to preach the Word of God. Luke 4:18; "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." Genesis 12:1-3; 1. Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3. And I will bless them that bless thee,and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
