SongFarmers of Metamora SongFarmers of Metamora hold two monthly community music events, the Grist Mill Jam and Acoustic Final Fridays. Sponsored by Metamora Performing Arts

SongFarmers of Metamora invite everyone to join us in Indiana's Canal Town to enjoy music together. The first Sunday of the month from April to September the Grist Mill Jam takes place at the Metamora Grist Mill from 1 to 4 PM. On the last Friday of the month Acoustic Final Friday is held with sign up beginning at 6:30 PM and performances beginning at 7. Generally held from March to October, eithe

r at the Back Porch of Lane's End Barn on Lover's Lane or in bad weather at the MPA Opry Barn at 19189 Pennington Rd. Food available for purchase from the Metamora Lions Club. Songfarmers Clubs are an outreach of the Woodsong Front Porch and are for WFPA members to host in their communities. It can be a front porch, living room, radio station performance area, general store, school or community center. From the Hudson Valley in New York to Texas, SongFarmer clubs are springing up as we gather the global front porch community of artists and music lovers. These are open, community, non-ticketed events.

Larry Wayt led the Grist Mill Jam for years, and we thank him for that. This year Andrea Flodder is stepping up, as health reasons have dictated that Larry reduce his activity. You may have seen seen her around with Cross Porch Pickers, or at Tuesday Night Jam at the Opry Barn
