The Pronghorn Antelope is the fastest land animal in North America and in Wood Badge they are the least often represented on course. With only 8 spots to go, let’s bring the Antelopes back to Gilwell this spring!

The Patrol method Troops and Wood Badges course follow is based on Baden-Powell's desire to create a sense of identity and promote scout spirit by using "critters". These are animal totems based on (some) animals found in North America. These are:
Beaver, Bobwhite. Eagle, Fox, Owl, Bear, Buffalo, Antelope

the is very rare and having an Antelope Patrol on course is one of several goals of the 2027 course!
