✨ Meet the Team at the Catholic Community Foundation! ✨

Meet Regina, Chief Financial Officer of the Catholic Community Foundation! Regina oversees the Foundation’s finances, works with donors and fund holders to facilitate distributions to recipient organizations, and manages internal and external audits. She also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of .

Before joining the Foundation, Regina spent nearly 30 years as CFO of Zatarain’s. A graduate of the University of New Orleans, with a degree in accounting, she has also generously shared her expertise through service on the boards and finance committees of Catholic Charities and Second Harvest Food Bank. She currently serves on the Finance Council at St. Louis King of France Church, where she is also a Eucharistic Minister and Lector.

A lifelong New Orleanian, Regina and her husband, Rusty, have been married for 43 years and have a son, Reese. When they’re not working or serving their community, Regina and Rusty love escaping to the Florida beaches whenever they can! 🌴☀️

We’re grateful to have Regina’s experience, dedication, and faith as part of the Catholic Community Foundation team! 💙

On September 17, the Catholic Community Foundation welcomed Catholic nonprofits and ministry leaders to Notre Dame Seminary for a day dedicated to getting ready for this year’s campaign! 💙💛

From training and resources to connecting with fellow organizations, Prep Fest was all about getting trained, getting supplied and getting ready to make an impact. 🙌

A special thank-you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We’re grateful for the incredible organizations and people who continue to make a powerful celebration of generosity across our Catholic community.

✨ A First for the Saint John Paul II Award ✨

Since 1996, the Saint John Paul II Award has honored Catholics whose service, generosity, and dedication have made a lasting impact on the ministries of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans. Traditionally, the award has recognized a layperson, married couple, or permanent deacon.

This year, we are making history.

As the Catholic Community Foundation celebrates its 50th anniversary, the Saint John Paul II Award will be presented to the priests of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, the first time in the award’s history that it has been given collectively to our priests.

From celebrating the sacraments and serving their parish communities to comforting those in times of need, our priests dedicate their lives to accompanying and caring for God’s people.

This special recognition is our way of expressing our deep gratitude for their faithful service and the countless ways they strengthen our local Church.

We hope to see you at our Annual Dinner as we celebrate 50 years of faith, generosity and stewardship, and honor the priests who have given so much to our Catholic community. 💙

✨ What a wonderful week in New Orleans! ✨

The 2026 International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC) Conference has officially wrapped.

New Orleans as the host city allowed the Catholic Community Foundation to show off our beloved city, our cherished churches, and our unmatched culture, all the while allowing our brothers and sisters from across the nation, multiple foreign countries, and varied-sized dioceses to grow in faith and learn best practices in stewardship and development.

It was especially sweet to host this year, as the Catholic Community Foundation took home the top honor for our Total Planned Giving Effort, Legacy Sunday, competing against the best and brightest across the Catholic sector in our country.

Our own Cory Howat and Joe Galloway shared their expertise as conference speakers, and iGiveCatholic was once again an exhibitor at the event, led by Lisa Schillace, with Micki Andry assisting.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s ICSC Conference such a memorable gathering. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, share, and celebrate the important work of Catholic stewardship together. ❤️
