Dear Leading Ladies Guild Members & Prospective Members,
Happy New Year to you and your families! I am so very honored, thrilled and excited to serve as the 2011 president of the Leading Ladies Guild. The Leading Ladies Guild’s while only a little over two years old, has grown rapidly and focuses on supporting the programs and endeavors of Jefferson Pe
rforming Arts Society. Fast approaching is our upcoming officer’s installation on January 27th to be held at the Southern Yacht Club. On March 18th, the Leading Ladies Guild, who helped bring this wonderful musical to the stage, will attend the preview of The Sound of Music. During April, Leading Ladies will be very busy attending the 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt for our wonderful leading Ladies, their children and grandchildren and the 2nd Annual Tea and Parasol Promenade will occur on April 17th in the beautiful City Park Botanical Gardens. Mark your calendars now; you will not want to miss these events! Throughout the year, we will be updating you through our “new” newsletter and on the website about other events and activities. In July, we will have a wonderful surprise event at a specialty retailer. Stay tuned for additional details. What an exciting year this will be and I am so privilege to make the journey with each of us. This year, there are many new and exciting activities and events that I am confident you will enjoy.
