French model railroader & YouTuber Pyper Pote and his wife visited the club this week during their trip to New Orleans. Model railroading is truly an international hobby.

80 years ago this week the world was introduced to a little blue tank engine. No, not the one here 😉. This week marks 80 years since Rev. Wilbert Awdry published Thomas The Tank Engine. The engine shown is named for Rev. Awdry and can be seen The Dean Forest Railway in England. He even appeared in a book written by Wibert's son Christopher. Many of us got in trains because of Thomas and we at The CCMRC remember the man behind it.
