As we observe Memorial Day, the Mesquite Police Association Charities stands alongside our community to honor the memory of America’s true heroes.

Today is a solemn reminder of the steep price of our freedom. We pause to remember the courageous men and women of our Armed Forces who laid down their lives in defense of our nation. Their selflessness secured the liberties we enjoy today, and their legacy is forever woven into the fabric of the communities we protect and serve.

To the families who carry the heavy burden of a loss that can never be replaced: we see you, we honor you, and we promise to never let their sacrifices fade into history.

May we all live our lives in a way that remains worthy of the incredible gifts they left behind.

This scholarship honors Officer Houston’s legacy and supports the next generation of law enforcement professionals right here in Mesquite.

April 2 – World Autism Awareness Day 🧩💙

Today, the Mesquite Police Association Charities proudly recognizes World Autism Awareness Day and our continued commitment to supporting individuals with autism and their families here in .

Through our Autism Awareness Program, families can voluntarily share important information that helps our officers respond with understanding, preparation, and care during emergencies or unexpected interactions. This program has been a huge success thanks to our partnership with Mesquite ISD!

To support this program, we are also hosting a limited Autism Awareness Patch fundraiser.
