Join PFLAG National for this month’s PFLAG Academy Online virtual learning session, “Be Kind, Rewind: Recognizing Your Role in Building Inclusion” on Tuesday, October 27th at 8:30pm ET/ 5:30pm PT.
In this session, you’ll reflect on the way people are treated differently because of some aspect of their identity, the role that we all play, and what we can do to create kinder spaces at the individual level as well as in our capacity as PFLAG advocates.

Last night, PFLAG Phoenix gathered at the Equality Arizona office for our PFLAG Votes event, and we are so grateful for everyone who joined us! 💙💗🤍

Around the table, Spencer and Michael explained our ballot and helped us understand what voters need to know about propositions and candidates. We were also honored to have a candidate show up for our community. Showing up matters.

A big thank you to our board members for facilitating, to Equality Arizona for hosting and equipping our voters, and to everyone who came out to learn together.

PFLAG Votes Together - TONIGHT

Thursday, October 15 | 6pm to 8pm | Equality Arizona Office
1305 W. Woodland Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85007

Bring your early voting ballot, a pen, and a friend. We’d love for you to arrive toward the start of the evening, but come when you can. Light dinner refreshments will be available, free to everyone who attends, whether or not you are voting.

We’ll also have sample ballots and nonpartisan voter guides on hand, and we’ll take a few minutes to share why we’re voting this year.

Everyone is welcome. Already voted? Come anyway. First time voting? You’re especially welcome. Don’t have your ballot with you but want more information? Join us. This event is for adults 18 and older and is not kid-friendly.

Early voting is open now, and Election Day is November 3. Each person completes only their own ballot.

We are PFLAG proud to honor the community all year long, including the launch of our newest PCC group dedicated to Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ Indigenous relatives, the PFLAG Connects: Two-Spirit & Indigenous Circle; the re-launch of our Indigenous-led chapter, PFLAG Native Metro Phoenix; and our investment in Bay Bank, founded and solely owned by the Oneida Nation.
