Bottle Baby Kittens

Bottle Baby Kittens Rescue specializing in orphaned neonatal kittens in Phoenix, Arizona. (We've also done some random species, like puppies and even a chicken once.)

Bottle Baby Kittens was started in 2019 to save the most at risk kittens; neonates under a week of age at intake. We primarily intake from the general public, helping those who want to save kittens, but don't have the resources to do so themselves. While with us, kittens are cared for 24 hours a day, every day. They live in foster homes where they are treated like family members so that when they

go home, they are already perfectly spoiled and know how to behave in a home environment. The additional perk to being completely foster home based is the fosters get to know the kittens intimately and are able to help make fantastic matches between kittens and potential adopters. Rescue isn't just about placing kittens in any home possible, it's about finding the perfect home for the kittens AND helping their new family find their perfect new family member. All kittens are vetted prior to adoption. This includes;
-any necessary treatments and medical care during their stay in the rescue for illnesses and injuries
-spay/neuter
-deworming
-age appropriate FVRCP ("distemper combo") vaccines (at least two at the time of adoption)
-individual FeLV testing with Idexx ELISA/snap tests
-microchip with lifetime registration

Adoption fees vary based on the kitten, but on average are $175 to cover the cost of medical care. If you want to adopt two (which we highly encourage!), we have a reduced fee on the second kitten because they do so much better in pairs. Tonight's MVP is Marigold 🥰 I woke up from a nightmare and she was not only the first to run to my rescue when I was calling cats' names for company, but the only one. She's now curled up in a ball on my lap, using her whole 9lbs of adorableness to provide some deep pressure therapy so I can go back to sleep. She's truly the best little cat and would love to find her very own family to spoil with comfort cuddles on demand.

Poppy has a tendency to have a wee bit of RBF in pictures, but I finally got a glamorous, less grumpy picture of her. Thankfully she's super sweet and doesn't act like she sometimes looks.

Poppy needs help finding her forever home 🥰

She used to be the cat who got along with everyone, unfortunately she's overwhelmed in her foster home. Our usual adoption routes have been failing her for a while, so we're hoping for help finding her forever home ❤️

Poppy is sweet and outgoing and will almost follow you around. We say almost because she's very bright figures out where you're going so she can get in front of you to beg for pets. She also loves to sit behind you on the couch to have a good thumb suck (yes, she sucks her thumb -- it's the cutest thing you've ever seen!), sometimes sitting next to you and occasionally on you. She is very polite during her thumb-sucking sessions and doesn't require much besides a person sitting with her.

When she plays she especially loves wand toys, but also plays very well by herself. Her favorite toy to play with alone are wiggle worms. She will throw these up in the air and either catch them or chase them down.

Poppy gets along well with other cats, though she does love wrestling so would do best with an active, tolerant cat. She did get along wonderfully with the calm senior cat in her foster home when she had another cat to play with. If you don't have another cat she, her bestie in her foster home is Marigold. Marigold is equally wonderful and together they are not only entertaining, but also adorable.

She is truly amazing and has loved everyone she's met. We think she would do well with kids elementary school age and up and be besties if the kids are willing to play with her. She also would be perfect for adults in a calm home. She is a very easy keeper, managing her weight well when free feeding, having perfect litter box habits (both with regular and automatic boxes), doesn't require brushing, and can easily entertain herself with another cat if you end up with busy days or go out of town.

She is fully vetted. Spayed (fixed); FeLV/FIV negative; FVRCP, FeLV, and rabies vaccines up to date; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and had yearly wellness vet exam done in October 2025 (adoption also includes a free wellness check at our vet).

She's very polite at thumb-sucking time and doesn't need much besides someone sitting next to her.

Poppy and Marigold are still looking for their forever homes 🥰

While they can go separately, they are the perfect match and would be quadruple, but double, the joy if you adopted both.

They have great matching personalities for human time, with Poppy LOVING to sit behind you on the couch to have a good thumb suck (yes, she sucks her thumb -- it's the cutest thing you've ever seen!) while spending quality time with you, but not requiring you to give her attention. She does LOVE her pets at other times and will chase you around, doing her 'pet me!' dance. She gets so excited about pets that she jumps her hind end up and can lose her balance if your hand isn't there.

Marigold's quality time is hanging out with you on the couch or in bed. She LOVES to sack out on or next to your legs, especially if you have a blanket over you, and will hang out and take a nap. Her preferred petting time is while she's getting ready to settle down, but she loves people so much that she's happy to get pets even if she's already napping. She's calm and wonderful and so sweet.

What they do both do similarly is play. They especially love wand toys and are thrilled for any time you give them. Marigold has somehow learned how to tell time and she will be ready and waiting for playtime if you get on a schedule. She is very easygoing however and does not get upset at all if you aren't able to play at that time. She also will excitedly play at other times. Poppy is just happy for anything she gets.

As for them together, they will play together, wrestling and chaising each other. They also give each other baths, which is the cutest thing to watch. Marigold tends to be a bit more focused on grooming (both are extremely clean cats though), so sometimes when she's grooming Poppy, Poppy will try to play and Marigold will pull back, give her 'the look' and Poppy stops and lets Marigold continue. They also LOVE sleeping together, either in their preferred type of beds set next to each other or sometimes both jammed into a tent together.

These two girls are truly amazing. They are sweet, social, brave cats who love everyone they've met. We think they would do well with kids elementary school age and up and be besties if the kids are willing to play with them. They also would be perfect for adults in a calm home. Sweet Dufrense keeps getting stood up. He has had the most applications of any of our cats, but not one single meet-and-greet as everyone ghosts this poor boy before they even meet him. He is a truly amazing, unique cat who wants his very own family to love so incredibly much.

He's a super sweet, BIG (18lbs!), two year old, Bengal mix. He would love nothing more than a family who wants a dog-cat because he ADORES pets, is the sweetest drooly boy, and wants to be with you always so he can be you personal cheerleader (or thief of anything that could be played with as a toy).

He gets along great with other cats (who are tolerant of goofy, toddler-like cats), dogs, and would do great with high school age and up kids.
