Bottle Baby Kittens

Bottle Baby Kittens Rescue specializing in orphaned neonatal kittens in Phoenix, Arizona. (We've also done some random species, like puppies and even a chicken once.)

Bottle Baby Kittens was started in 2019 to save the most at risk kittens; neonates under a week of age at intake. We primarily intake from the general public, helping those who want to save kittens, but don't have the resources to do so themselves. While with us, kittens are cared for 24 hours a day, every day. They live in foster homes where they are treated like family members so that when they

go home, they are already perfectly spoiled and know how to behave in a home environment. The additional perk to being completely foster home based is the fosters get to know the kittens intimately and are able to help make fantastic matches between kittens and potential adopters. Rescue isn't just about placing kittens in any home possible, it's about finding the perfect home for the kittens AND helping their new family find their perfect new family member. All kittens are vetted prior to adoption. This includes;
-any necessary treatments and medical care during their stay in the rescue for illnesses and injuries
-spay/neuter
-deworming
-age appropriate FVRCP ("distemper combo") vaccines (at least two at the time of adoption)
-individual FeLV testing with Idexx ELISA/snap tests
-microchip with lifetime registration

Adoption fees vary based on the kitten, but on average are $175 to cover the cost of medical care. If you want to adopt two (which we highly encourage!), we have a reduced fee on the second kitten because they do so much better in pairs. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are more than happy to help in any way we can.

Sweet Dufrense keeps getting stood up. He has had the most applications of any of our cats, but not one single meet-and-greet as everyone ghosts this poor boy before they even meet him. He is a truly amazing, unique cat who wants his very own family to love so incredibly much.

He's a super sweet, BIG (18lbs!), two year old, Bengal mix. He would love nothing more than a family who wants a dog-cat because he ADORES pets, is the sweetest drooly boy, and wants to be with you always so he can be you personal cheerleader (or thief of anything that could be played with as a toy).

He gets along great with other cats (who are tolerant of goofy, toddler-like cats), dogs, and would do great with high school age and up kids.

This Giving Tuesday we are hoping to fundraise enough to get two pet kittens fixed and five feral cats and kittens and one semi feral male TNR'ed, some of which are pictured.

The pet kittens belong to a lovely family we helped with food and litter and we want to make sure they are fixed before they make more babies. The cost for their spay and neuter is $145. The owners will contribute what they can, but are on an extremely limited budget.

The TNRs are estimated to be an adult female, adult male, and five kittens. We are looking into local TNR programs and clinics I trust, but are looking at $405-465 between surgery and pain meds. The feral cat feeders are also contributing, but I'm hoping we can fundraise as much as possible as they accidentally stumbled upon these cats and are doing the right thing by getting them fixed.

Our current goal is $580 (averaging the cost of the TNR) and any funds not needed for surgeries will go towards vaccinating the pet kittens.

Any and all help is super appreciated, even if you are just sharing our post. We also will need help transporting the pet kittens to and/or from Broadway and Dobson and Van Buren and 40th St on a date we can find transportation. The family does not have a vehicle, so are unable to transport themselves.

✨Please no negativity about pet owners not being able to afford their pets. These two were rescued and the family is responsible enough to ask for help before things get out of hand πŸ₯°

Today would have been 11 years with Noelle. She started as a foster and ended up being the best foster sister to so many other animals and the best thing that ever happened to me. She taught kittens to be dog-friendly, she was an emotional support dog to so many other dogs, a nurse to sick animals, and a cuddle buddy to everyone. There will never be another dog like her and I'm so broken without her. She has left a huge hole in our home and everyone misses her so much. She truly was the best dog ever πŸŒˆπŸ’”

We are starting to be a bit desperate for a home for Ellis, who is absolutely perfect... Unless around other female cats.

She is truly the sweetest girl who adores cuddling on chests or along the back of the couch to be near people. She loves to do be as close to your face as possible and once she's made sure you feel loved, will put her little head on your chest to rest. She's also funny and silly and loves to play and sploot in random places around the house.

She would do amazing in a home with other male cats or as a single cat. She does get along with dogs, her only issue is other female cats.

She is up to date on all vaccines, FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped with free registration, and vet checked last month. Ellis is located in NW Gilbert. If you're interested, the adoption application can be found at linktr.ee/bottlebabykittens and feel free to message us with any questions.

TL;DR: Chewy has vet clinics, they have one in the Phoenix valley, they gave us presents, they are giving our adopted animals medical care and presents post adoption, and I have cute pictures!

Chewy recently opened their first Arizona vet clinic in Chandler (at Chandler Blvd and the 101) and invited us to come "help them during their training days." (Aka they gave us a ton of free vetting -- we definitely got the better end of the deal 😹)

The clinic is amazing! But the cats were cuter, so most of the pictures are them.

In all the rooms they have the most adorable mirrors for pictures. Poppy totally understood the assignment. Apricot and Banana were willing to if I was part of it.

They have a touch TV in all the rooms with a picture of your cat (and information about their care), which MP was happy to admire during his exam because he's adorable and knows it.

You can also watch your pets in the back! I was able to watch Marigold be bribed with Churus by the vet while the techs drew her blood.

I did have to run out to swap cats during Marigold's exam and when I got back I found they labeled her 😹

I have a feeling they don't take room reservations, but if you can snag room three, I highly recommend it. Super cozy chairs and the cats had fun bopping around instead of being stuck in kennels the whole time.

Lastly (and extremely generously) Chewy is giving our adopted animals free first exams and a $50 gift certificate at that time. I really appreciate this as routine vet care is so important and a free wellness check is a great way to establish a health baseline, plus free presents! (I do really love presents.) I also really love Chewy and the extra effort they put in to help rescues (aka the clients they make the least amount of money off and donate the most to) and this clinic was another example of their animals (and people) first mentality.

Thank you so much to the great Chewy Cares team in Florida, Chewy Vet Care in Chandler, and Chewy as a whole. You guys are amazing 😻

Gifting litter and food to those who need a little extra help right now πŸˆπŸˆβ€β¬›

Dr. Elsey's is wonderful and they are allowing us to share some donations with the community since so many people are struggling due to the government shutdown and SNAP benefits being withheld. If anyone can't afford cat food and litter, please message us and pickup can be arranged near the 60 and Dobson weekday evenings.

✨ Please share to ensure those who need help will see this post. ✨

(This is for individuals. If you're a rescue, please reach out to Dr. Elsey's directly for information about their litter donation program 😊)

We have three super sweet cats who have been looking for their forever homes for a bit, but not having luck through our regular methods, so I'm hoping we can get some help from our awesome followers πŸ₯°

Ellis is the sweetest tuxedo girl with the cutest mustache that's ever been a mustache. She is very lovey with people, with her favorite thing being to cuddle up on your lap and either get in your face or rest her head on your chest. While she has no concept of personal space during active cuddle time, she doesn't need to be on your lap at all times always. She gets her cuddle on for a bit and then she bops off to do her thing. One of the reasons she's had trouble finding a home is that she can be a bit of a mean girl to other female cats. She loves the males she lives with, so she would to great in a home with either Dufrense or Little Sir or going to a home with an easy-going male cat.

Dufrense says he is the best cat in the whole wide world! While he is sweet and he desperately wants to be a good cat, we believe he's a Bengal mix and therefore he has extra energy and does need playtime to burn off energy and would likely love puzzle toys. He's very dog-like in his behaviors in that he comes when called, loves to play with people, is vocal (but he has baby cat chirps, so he's not annoying or loud), and is a bit drooly. He does need to either go to a home with an existing cat or go home with Ellis or Little Sir. If you've ever

Little Sir is an absolutely perfect little cat. He gets along with everyone in his foster home, even liking the rudely hyper dog, he is super sweet to people, he is polite always, very confident and outgoing with his people, and is happy to watch whatever you want to watch. (Though we're fairly certain his eyes are going to become square from how close he sits to the TV.) His only issue is he's terrified of new people and hides. Once he gets to know someone, he'll be your best friend and he will be a completely normal cat, but he wants no part in meet and greets. Due to this, he would go home on a longer than usual slumber party so he will have plenty of time to get to know his new family and show them how incredibly, if goofy initially

πŸˆβ€β¬›πŸˆβ€β¬›Foster/babysitter needed for two sweet, well-behaved cats to keep their family together πŸˆβ€β¬›πŸˆβ€β¬›

A former adopter is having to move and needs help to keep his cats. (Which is exactly what we all want people to ask for instead of rehoming!) The current plan is finding someone to watch them from the end of February until the beginning of June.

Cricket is the calico sister and Maverick is her orange tabby brother. They are five years old. Super sweet and love hanging out with their family and each other. They are very well behaved, don't get into things they shouldn't, enjoy playing with toys alone and with their people, use one litter box (but will come with two), and all supplies will be provided. Bottle Baby Kittens will be the backup rescue (they were my babies initially), but the owner adores them and will be available as well.

Please reach out to me or the rescue if you're able to help these kitties keep their forever family πŸ₯°
