American Legion Riders Chapter 138 of Arizona

American Legion Riders Chapter 138 of Arizona Our Mission is to support the goals and objectives of the American Legion.through the sport of Motorcycling and networking for charitable causes.

The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion family who are motorcycle enthusiasts. Members of the ALR come from the American Legion, the Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders were formed...

..

.to promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest.
...to use our Association to promote and support programs of the American Legion. ..to participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the Aims and Purposes of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders is not a M/C, and does not practice M/C rules or regulations. The American Legion Riders is family-oriented, just as is its parent organization: the American Legion.

I am honored to be a member of American Legion Post 138 and to have served as the Director of our Riders this past year.
Together, the ALR 138 Riders have made a meaningful impact, contributing over $8,000 in direct support, along with numerous additional donations, to benefit our fellow veterans and the communities we serve. I am proud of what we have accomplished and remain confident in the continued service this group will provide in the years ahead.
After careful consideration, I have decided not to seek another term as Director due to increasing work and organizational commitments. While this decision brings some relief, it is also bittersweet, as leading such a dedicated and outstanding group has been a truly rewarding experience.
Thank you for the trust, support, and opportunity to serve alongside each of you and to lead over the past year.

A good rider's meeting today, thank you to all who attended.

In our meeting today ALR post 138 rider's donated $1000 to Skippy @ Down and Dirty to support their cause helping injured riders pay bills resulting from mishaps while riding. In addition we voted to make this an annual donation yearly going forward.

At the close of meeting we had 14 riders head out to Falcon Field to donate another $500 to Tony @ Grounded No More. Grounded No More gives rides to Veterans in a 1940 era bi-plane "Amazing Grace II" in appreciation to their service to our great Nation.

Awesome work today ALR 138 riders, I'm proud to be a part of this organization. What do riders do? RIDERS LEAD THE WAY!!
