Important Platform Upgrade

Thanks to our newest partnership with Chris Bey Realtor, Play Rugby AZ has made a critical upgrade to our broadcast platform.

Effective immediately, rugby fans across Arizona can now watch live streams and replays without creating an account or logging in.

That means games are easier to watch, easier to share, and easier to send to parents, coaches, players, fans, and recruiters.

Thank you, Chris, for helping us continue to grow the platform and make Arizona rugby more accessible for everyone.

If your business cares about the growth of rugby in Arizona, we’d love to talk about how you can help build the platform while receiving recognition for your support.

Red Mountain Knights Claim Arizona State Title

Friday Night Rugby Lights delivered one of the biggest nights of Arizona high school rugby.

The two top high school clubs in the state went all out in front of a packed house to decide who would become this year’s Arizona State Champion.

The players came out ready to put on a show, and they left everything on the field. These athletes are built different. They played a game that will be talked about for a long time and set a new standard for the next generation of Arizona rugby players.

Both Tempe and Red Mountain showed why they deserved to be there. Two well-coached teams. Athletic. Physical. Organized. Full of heart.

Huge defensive hits. High emotions. Sweat, blood, and tears. For 80 minutes, we witnessed the best high school rugby Arizona produced this year.

And they are just getting started.

In the end, Red Mountain came out on top and claimed this year’s Arizona High School Rugby State Title.

Final Score
Red Mountain 17
Tempe 10

Arizona High School Rugby | D2 State Final

Eclipse Rugby has been crowned the Arizona D2 State Champions.

Friday Night Rugby Lights delivered one of the most exciting matches of the year and showed just how much Arizona high school rugby continues to grow.

The two teams that met in the D2 Final showed exactly why they deserved to be there. Brophy and Eclipse played with heart for all 80 minutes, keeping a packed park entertained from start to finish.

Both teams put on a strong display of fast, physical, entertaining rugby. In the end, Eclipse was able to squeeze one more score in and finish the night as this year’s D2 State Champions.

Congratulations to Eclipse Rugby.
