Dear Friends,
On the eve of the second anniversary of the catastrophic 7.0 earthquake that struck the island-nation of Haiti, killing an estimated 316 000 people, leaving 1 000 000 homeless and impacting the lives of over three million people the needs of the Haitian people remains great but due to the efforts of people like you Haiti could be at the turning point.
The Haitian Disaster Relief of Arizona (HDRA) is continuing its commitment to quickening the pace of relief and reconstruction efforts in the country and provide pathways to educate and enhance the Spirit, Mind and Body of the Haitian people through partnership and collaboration with existing organizations and like-minded individuals across the world.
This week HDRA will commemorate the tragedy at The Pollack Haitian Hope Center in Mesa from 10am-4pm, come and join HDRA CEO Christine Ellis as she speaks about Haiti’s progress so far, Haiti’s long road ahead and HDRA’s work in the nation so far, plus the organization’s upcoming week long medical trip planned for January 15th-21st in conjunction with the Pinnacle Presbyterian Church of Scottsdale, Arizona.
