Vet-Sec Protection Agency starts Parking Patrols tonight in La Fortina! You'll see this a marked vehicle driving through the community.
Many residents have been parking in violation of the Parking Rules. Please make sure everyone that parks in the community is aware of the Parking Rules.
Fire Lane Parking
1. If the parking inspector will call All City Towing for an immediate tow of any vehicle parked in the fire lane. Make sure your guests know what side of the street is considered the fire lane! If a vehicle is towed, it is a minimum of $200 to retrieve it from impound. The owner of the vehicle is responsible to pay for any impound fees.
Street Parking
1. If you have a vehicle parked on the street in violation of the Street Parking Rules, you will receive a violation notice marked "1st Notice", on your vehicle.
2. If the same vehicle (or any other vehicle associated with your lot) is tracked as parked in violation of the Street Parking Rules a 2nd time, you will receive violation notice marked "2nd Notice", on your vehicle.
3. If the same vehicle (or any other vehicle associated with your lot) is tracked as parked in violation of the Street Parking Rules a 3rd time, the parking inspector will place a violation notice marked "TOW" on your vehicle, and will immediately call All City Towing to have your vehicle towed.
Yard Parking
1. The parking inspector is also looking for vehicles parked on the landscaping (unpaved surfaces) on every lot. If you have been parking your vehicle on the landscaping of your lot, you are parking in violation of the Rules & Regulations and will receive a violation fine. The parking inspector will send a picture of the violation to Preferred Communities and a violation fine will be issued to the homeowner.
2. If the parking inspector sees a vehicle parked on your landscaping again, they will send a picture of the violation to Preferred Communities and a violation fine will be issued the homeowner.
3. If the parking inspector identifies ;a vehicle parked on your landscaping a third time, they will send a picture of the violation to Preferred Communities and your account will be turned over to the Association's Attorney for further enforcement. Note: all attorney's fees will be the responsibility of the lot owner in violation.

If you do not have enough room in your garage & driveway to park your vehicles, you may submit a street parking variance for consideration. There are conditions that must be met in order to be given a street parking variance.
