I don’t know who was more excited to present Tamia Jones with AZ Club Prep’s first ever Player of the Season award—her coach, Beau Cross, or Basketball's Director, Josh Foust.

Tamia had the highest stats during league play, smiled throughout the season, and no one cheered louder for her teammates than she did. Congratulations, Tamia! All of us at AZ Club Prep are proud of you.

We are excited to introduce a new AZ Club Prep Basketball tradition!

During our All-Star Event on Saturday, September 26, we will recognize and celebrate our first-ever Player of the Season.

This honor is based strictly on player statistics recorded throughout the season—recognizing the player whose performance consistently stood out on the court.

We’re excited to add this recognition to our program and celebrate another way our players’ hard work, consistency, and impact can be recognized.

Thanks to the incredible AZ Club Prep Basketball Division team, we just wrapped up another successful and competitive season—our biggest season to date, with 20% more teams and players!

Tournament play was yesterday, and All-Star Weekend is up next!

A big thank-you to our dedicated team (left to right): Referee Darwin Russell, League Director Josh Foust, Scorekeeper Brandon B, Stat Keeper Jenny, and Referee—and EMT—Brian Garland.

We couldn’t have had such a successful season without their hard work and commitment to our players, coaches and families!
