We are back from our 10-day mission trip in Nassau, Bahamas and all I can say is God was showing up all over the place. 100 Bibles were given to people, health and wellness screening, Vacation Bible School, walkabouts in neighborhoods, prayers sometimes in the middle of the street with people passing by in the cars, seeing us and stopping, su***de prevention training, worship service, connections made, future su***de prevention trainings, and a host of things in between! More than we could have even imagined.
We were able to bless another church on the island of Eleuthera with extra supplies for Vacation Bible School that starts today as they did not have the supplies they needed. God already knew that. We lost power multiple times, sometimes for extended periods up to 11 hours with a heat wave going on but our team kept going without complaint as God was giving them the energy and strength needed.
Things are still happening even though we are home. God is good...ALL THE TIME! Pictures will be following soon as we are now with a more stable connection and we are all processing our team in the field BUT we are still on mission and so are you! Matthew 28:19-20 NIV
[19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
That word "go" actually means as you are going, wherever you go...here at home or abroad, at work, at school, in your neighborhood everywhere.
