12u Express tryouts are right around the corner. We plan to play a AAA schedule and we’re looking for committed players and families to complete at that level. This is a Cooperstown team and there will be fundraising involved.

Merrionette Park Baseball and Softball would like to thank the people at the Field of Dreams tournament in Iowa. We sent 5 teams to this weekend’s tournament in Dyersville. The skills competition at the movie sight was flawlessly ran and definitely a highlight of the weekend. A perfect atmosphere for families, friends and teammates. The grounds crew and umpires were top tier at every one of the satellite parks. Unfortunately the tournament had to be cancelled despite the grounds crews best efforts. This is a place we will promote to our future Express teams

Congrats to Harper Hecker for reaching 200K’s for the season last weekend in leading the Express to their tournament win. The right handed Choo Choo has been dominant all season scorching bat’s with her power arm 🔥🔥🔥🔥

⚾🥎 A Friendly Reminder from Merrionette Park Baseball and Softball🥎⚾

Our baseball and softball fields are maintained by volunteers who work hard to provide a great experience for all of our players and families.

We’ve recently noticed more trash being left around the fields, dugouts, bleachers, and parking areas. We kindly ask everyone to help keep our facilities clean by picking up after themselves before leaving.

Even better, if you see a piece of trash on the ground—even if it isn’t yours—please consider picking it up. When everyone pitches in, it makes a huge difference and helps keep our fields looking great.

Let’s work together to teach our young athletes the importance of respect, responsibility, and community pride.

Thank you for helping keep our league clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone!

Congrats to the 10U Express for their tournament win in the USSSA Chicagoland Summer Slugfest and bringing home the 🏆. The Express pulled through as a team going 3-0 in Sunday bracket play. Congrats Express!! 🚂🥎💚🖤

Congrats to the 10U Express for taking 3rd place in a grueling three day Illinois State Championship tournament hosted by USSSA that featured 19 teams. The Express entered bracket play earning the #1 seed and brought 3rd place home. Congrats Express 🚂🥎💚🖤
