📣 Afterschool belongs in the child care conversation.

NHAN Network Lead Sunni Tainter joined Executive Committee members Lauren Martin and Stephanie Latini at The Workforce Behind the Workforce: A Candidate Briefing on Childcare.

We were there to help shine a light on afterschool and the full continuum of child care—because families don't stop needing care when their children enter kindergarten.

When we talk about child care, workforce, and New Hampshire families, school-age care has to be part of the conversation.

For some children at at OCS, LEGO robotics was a brand-new experience—and it took them all the way to the Kingswood Qualifier!

Afterschool programs bridge the opportunity gap by giving young people access to hands-on STEAM learning, teamwork, problem-solving, and experiences they may not otherwise have.
