The Museum is now open for the 2026 season and will happily welcome visitors every Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM until October.

This past winter has been tough for us, and increased National Grid Gas costs have put considerable strain on our budget. To help offset these expenses, we’re launching fundraising activities beginning with a Bake Sale. The bake sale is May 16th from 8-12 at the Museum, 34 West Main Street, Merrimac, MA.

We greatly appreciate donations of individually wrapped food items; you can bring them on the morning of the Bake Sale or reach out to a team member to arrange an earlier drop-off.

Consider becoming an annual supporting member. Memberships start at $50.00

With the weather turning cold we will not be able to open the Merrimac Historical Museum any longer this year. We are aiming to open the 2026 season on Sunday, May 3.

Meanwhile, we hope to see you all at the upcoming Merrimac 150th event, the town-wide photo and duck-drop raffle that is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1pm at Donaghue Field.
