We need your input! The Open Space Committee is updating our town's Open Space and Recreation Plan. A survey is being conducted to gather ideas and concerns from the community about Merrimac's open spaces and recreation areas. Please click on the link to complete the survey by April 30.

Wild Edibles Walk - Saturday, September 30 9:30-11:30 AM
The Merrimac Open Space Committee is hosting a Wild Edibles Walk on the Marshview Trail led by naturalist Russ Cohen, author of the book Wild Plants I Have Known....and Eaten.
The program is free of charge. Registration is required.

The Open Space Committe would like to thank everyone for sharing their ideas for potential uses for town owned land on Emery Street. We had an overwhelming response of over 300 completed surveys! The survey is now closed. We will update the Open Space page on the Town website as we move forward.

The Merrimac Open Space Committee invites you to a 'plein air' hosted by Merrimac school art teacher, Drew Dupre!
Draw, paint, sketch with other art enthusiasts on the bank of the Merrimack River at CAREY PARK, River Road.
All abilities welcome. Ages 15 and up. Bring your own supplies.
