***couple-few last minute announcements***​
Overnight: I'm gonna keep it simple and go with a classic...we're taking our lil' adventure back to Madeline! Ferry rides, a burned down bar, and beach side moonrise. We have a site on the island set for Monday night.
WineyWednesdayBeachBash: Just...bring w**e. And yes, I packed the damn corkscrew.
Tubing: Rivers Edge Adventure Co. has us on the books for their 3hr(ish) float on Fri 7/31. Were not locked in to a time, but last launch is 1p. I also have us down for a shuttle (drunk bus) from and back to camp. They can accomidate a much larger group than I'm expecting, but if youre 'in' let me know asap so I can give him a heads up. Cost is $28/tube, plus shuttle and cooler tube fees (should be $10ea or so, depending how many of us bobbers get to bobbing).
Pot luck: Campground doesent have any of their delish beef to donate this year, so were gonna have to supliment. I'm gonna chip in a good chunk to get us some burgers and fixins, but I gotta ask for help. If you want to contribute, we'll put out a jar the night of...better yet, hit me up through the week so I can look you in the eye and shake your hand with gratitude about it.
Lanyards/nametags: With no real sign in this year, we wont be handing out nametag lanyards. If you have any from years past, I encourage bringing one. If you're a newbie, feel free to get creative. They do help put faces to names for all us internet friends.
