2 x 2 Rescue is dedicated to bettering the lives of overlooked, neglected, or special needs shelter animals. It is our belief that some animals need more attention with medical, social, or behavioral issues than most shelters are willing or able to give. We are dedicated to educating the public about the animals in need, and how they can help. Prevention and education are the key factors in animal

care. Each animal deserves the perfect forever home and it is our commitment to them that we find it.

2 x 2 Rescue was founded by two like minded woman animal lovers. After years in the shelter environment, it became clear that some of the animals that were most in need were being overlook for various reasons. It was then that Victoria Beasley and Tara Stanley decided they would determine who most needed help with medical, behavioral, and social issues. It will be at a time when the animal is well mentally and physically that it will be placed in a forever home. We are completely based out of foster homes, and we do not have a physical shelter that you can come and visit.

**If you are interested in an animal, the first step is to fill out an adoption application at: http://bit.ly/WxYi8a. Once your app is submitted someone from our rescue will contact you. Our adoption fees are as follows:

Adult Dog (1 year and older) - $400.00
Puppy ( Less than 1 year old) - $400.00
Adult Cat - $150.00
Kitten - $150.00

PLEASE NOTE - We are a volunteer based rescue, all of the members, fosters and officers of this rescue have jobs and families. Please be patient, as some days are busier than others and application review can take a little more time. We look for the best application for each pet, we are NOT a first come, first served group. ALSO, please contact your vet and personal references and let them know we will be calling, in order to expedite the review process.

We have an update for everyone that has donated to and shared our donation link for the medical fund we use for our pets who have unexpected illness/injury.
Dough seems to be feeling much better today. She has been in the hospital since wednesday. Today she started eating on her own, her temp has come back down, and she is moving around with ease again. Please keep all the good vibes and support coming this way 💛

🚨UPDATE 🚨 For everyone who has donated and shared our link to help with our medical fund, THANK YOU. Dough is still in the hospital and is scheduled for possible exploratory surgery tomorrow. She is still fighting so we will fight with her. Any donated amount helps us tremendously and not one donation is overlooked or unappreciated. We need your help to continue on for these dogs. 🚨 We are tapping in to our medical fund today (unexpectedly) and again on friday. Our adoptable dog "Dough" is in the hospital being treated for an unknown illness right now. This is on top of a major surgery we have scheduled for one of our dogs friday who has breast masses, rotten painful teeth, and needs spayed in addition to all that. PLEASE help us replenish our medical fund, if you can. No donation is too small and THANK YOU ❤️🐕🐈

This is Touchy. He came to us as a tiny touchy kitten from animal control. Touchy is now neutered, fully vetted, and is awaiting a clear f***l sample from the parasite burden he had when arriving here to safety. Touchy is fostered with kids, dogs, and other cats. Wesson is a BIG guy. He is tall and weighs 120 # at 7 years of age. Wesson is considered a senior at this age due to his size but we don't want that to fool you. He is strong on a leash and full of pup energy when he plays. He appears to be a healthy happy guy that loves everyone of all ages. Wes is neutered, fully vetted, and on monthly parasite prevention. He came to use with intestinal parasites which we are clearing him of before he is adopted out, for everyone's safety. Most intestinal parasites are transferable to people and other pets. Safety is always top priority for us here, that and Wessons happiness of course! He is great with cats, dogs, and kids but don't forget he is a BIG guy so sturdy kids would be best.
