Merrillan Lions Club thanks the residents of the Village of Merrillan, Corner Bar Merrillan, Cisco's Taqueria Y Cantina, Toybox Rides, Oreilly's Auto Parts, Countryside Church, County Line Fire & Rescue Department, Merrillan Cafe, The Depot Hotel and Saloon, B’s Little Log Cabin and the classic car owners and flea market vendors who helped make Saturday a joyful day.

Last night was a big night for the Merrillan Lions Club!

The Merrillan Lions Club and Alma Center Lions Club gathered for our annual "District Governor Visit" meeting, hosted at our new-to-us community building.

It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, recognition, and celebration!

Several Alma Center Lions received Chevron recognitions for their many years of dedicated service.

A huge congratulations to each of you!! You guys, one of their members had 40 years of service!!! 🤯

Your commitment to serving others over the years is inspiring and deeply appreciated.

And the Merrillan Lions Club also celebrated a very special milestone as 11 new members were officially inducted into our club.

Yes, eleven!

With these new Lions joining the pride, our membership has more than doubled, and we could not be more excited about what this means for the future of service in our community.

Merrillan is showing up ready to love on our community. These new members represent several generations and prove that volunteerism is alive and well.

To our newest Lions, we are honored to have you join us. We hope you feel proud to embrace Lionism and the spirit of service that comes with it.

If you have ever wondered how you could give back to our community, we would love to talk with you.

Consider becoming a Lion and serving alongside us because when neighbors come together to serve, great things happen.
