These cute sisters are still waiting on someome to fall in love with them! Maggie and Grace are 2 beautiful girls looking for love! They can be a little shy at first but warm up quickly and love to snuggle in their beds and play! They are about 5 months old and are both spayed!

Home to Home Adoption Program!
LCHS has implemented a Home-to-Home Adoption program. This enables LCHS to help find homes for Lincoln County resident's animals that are already spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. These animals will not be at LCHS and therefore, we cannot confirm any statements made by current or potential owners or accept any liability in these circumstances.
Home to Home allows animals to stay in their homes until a new family can be found.
Any negative comments will be deleted.

Spook And Buddy are a bonded pair. Spook likes to follow the dogs to the door and watch over the house to make sure everyone comes in okay. He likes to be pet and takes a little while to warm up. When company comes he may leave but eventually comes back out. He doesn’t like to be held but will come up to you and lay down to be pet. Buddy is an absolute snuggler that will let you rub his belly nicely. Buddy came from the humane society up north and he was being beat up by 1 cat , so he has a tendency just to make sure that he can reach out and touch who ever is going by. He has never scratched and dog or fought Spook. He is just protecting his space, and in the past year he has learned he is okay, and safe and the bopping is less. It really is reaching out and touching to make sure that he is not being chased after. Both cats have lived in a 2 adult home with 2 dogs. The only reason for rehoming is a family member passing. They are sweet cats , that are just not getting attention they need to. They need a loving home that will be able to give attention. They have never been around small, active children but older kids that are gentle buddy has stolen lots of snuggles. They also have both been taken for car rides and gone camping 4 hours away , the last 3 years and they have enjoyed it well . They do great with change. They just need time and space to be loving. Both have claws and do not scratch anything but the scratch post, on the cat tree

We’d like to take a moment to recognize all the hard work of the employees at LCHS! There are many mouths to feed, meds to give, and animals to love. Our employees are always busy, often juggling multiple tasks at one time, and their dedication to the animals never fails.

With so many applications coming in, they’ve done a great job of getting animals into new homes in record time.
