So I made some comments about how the Wisconsin River pro rodeo association doesn't want us using the grounds for racing. Let me clear something up. It's not the whole organization that doesn't want it their, it's one specific person who constantly complains to the City Engineer about us. I think having the rodeo in Merrill is great! It brings people to the community. They spend money in are restaurants, hotels, stores etc., but so does are organization. I've talked to the mayor about coming up with a solution to the problem. Ultimate Ice racing does great things for the people of this community. Example: we raised $5,176 dollars in the names of Aiden and Dakota, the 2 teens who where tragically taken from us way to soon... That money went to the Wisconsin K-9 search and rescue. We've donated money to Merrill girls softball to help them get new uniforms. We donated money to the Josiger family to ease some of the money strain as a father, husband and brother battles cancer. We don't wanna start any kind of drama, we just want the same treatment the rodeo gets. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happier New Year! The Ultimate Racing Team

So the Merrill Pro Rodeo doesn't think we belong in Merrill, but not only did we build a track for racing, but hundreds of Merrill community ice skaters have been using the track for ice skating, which we think is great! But remember City of Merrill,the rodeo organization doesn't want the grounds used for nothing but rodeos.
