Mount Baldy Conquered! 🏔️

Today, Brian and Matthew accomplished something truly special—a father and son reaching the summit of Mount Baldy at Philmont Scout Ranch! Standing at 12,441 feet above sea level, Mount Baldy is not only the highest peak at Philmont, but also the highest peak in the Cimarron Range.

This iconic trek is more than just reaching the top—it’s about perseverance, teamwork, and creating lifelong memories together. We couldn’t be more proud of these two for taking on the challenge and representing Troop 503 with determination and Scout spirit.

Congratulations, Brian and Matthew, on an incredible achievement and an unforgettable father-and-son adventure. Here’s to the memories made and the trails still to come!

⚜️ Troop 503 is proud of you!

🇺🇸 Flag of the Day – A National Jamboree Tradition 🇺🇸

One of the meaningful traditions at the National Jamboree is our Flag of the Day recognition.

This year, Troop 3334 is proud to fly a special America 250 Betsy Ross Flag, commemorating our nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary. Each day, this flag flies over our campsite. At the end of the day, the youth leadership selects one Scout who best exemplifies the ideals of the Scout Oath and Scout Law—someone who goes above and beyond by being exceptionally helpful, kind, courteous, and a positive example for everyone around them.

🇺🇸 Our first Flag of the Day recipient for July 23, 2026, is Joey!

Joey’s positive attitude, willingness to help others, and outstanding Scout spirit made him a clear choice for this honor.

Congratulations, Joey! Thank you for representing the very best of Scouting and setting the example for our troop. We can’t wait to recognize more outstanding Scouts throughout our National Jamboree adventure!

Camp New Wood Campout
Scouts spent the weekend cooking, hiking, working on skills and bonding as a troop. We attempted fishing but the river was a little to fast. Beautiful weather and got a 4 mile hike in. Great way to spend a weekend in the Northwoods. We even had a give a way drawing for an "Ugly Stick" Pole donated from Jokin Joe's Bait & Tackle. Congratulations Sully on winning. They also donated some bug spray to the troop. THANK YOU!!
