Troop 503 Merrill, WI

Troop 503 Merrill, WI BSA Troop 503 is chartered by VFW Post 1638 in the Northwoods District of the Samoset Council.

Troop 503 is a "boy lead" Troop, meaning activies are planned and led by the scouts with assistance from leaders and parents acting as advisors. Troop 503 is a very active multi-seasonal, outdoor oriented, adventure seeking, educational Troop. Our Troop goals are to provide: at least one activity per month, an outstanding weeklong summer camp experience at Tesomas Scout Camp, and at least one high

adventure trip every two years for eligible scouts. The Scoutmaster and his assistants are an experienced crew of adults who spend their weeknights and weekends providing leadership and guidance to the boys in the scouting program. Individuals must successfully pass a Council Administrative Background Check in order to become a leader.

Camp American 🇺🇸 Legion camp out & service project. Our Scout performed another service project for Camp American Legion, which involved removing deadfall from the winter season, cleaning leaves and debris from the overlook, and collecting trash along the trails and roadways. Through these camp outs and service projects, we are shaping young leaders for the future.
