Merkel Masonic Lodge #710 AF & AM Merkel Masonic Lodge #710 was a constituent Lodge of the Grand Lodge of Texas.A.F. & AM until we merged into Abilene Lodge 559 in the fall of 2024. (A.F. & AM).

Merkel Lodge #710 is a constituent Lodge of the Grand Lodge of Texas, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. It was chartered on January 11, 1891. The mailing address is P.O. Box 644, Merkel, Texas 79536.

Since Merkel Masonic Lodge 710 merged into Abilene Lodge 559 recently, we weren't sure if we were going to have our annual Beans and Cornbread Supper before, during and after the Merkel Christmas Parade on the evening of Saturday, December 7th. We are having the supper! So come by the lodge for food and fellowship starting about 5pm and before, during, and a little after the parade,

Merkel Lodge 710 is immediately conolidated with Abilene Lodge 559 by order of GM Tommy Chapman at the request of Merkel Lodge 710 and the agreement of Abilene Lodge 559, so our October meeting was the last meeting of Merkel Lodge 710.. This has been in the works for several months now.
