About The Idaho Foodbank
The Idaho Foodbank was established in 1984 and since that time has distributed millions of pounds of food through its facilities in Lewiston, Meridian and Pocatello. In the last fiscal year, The Foodbank provided food for more than 18.6 million meals to Idahoans living with food insecurity. Recognizing the crucial connection between hunger and health, The Idaho Foodbank focuses on providing nutritious food and collaborates with community organizations to promote nutrition education, wellness tools and healthy living.

This gift is the result of Jersey Mike's Subs donating 10% of sales from a busy Saturday in August. We are so grateful for support like this which will help us provide food for up to 1,800 meals for our neighbors!

Our team joined Chobani for this year's "Let's Eat Week" initiative at the College of Southern Idaho , packing nutritious food boxes for local pantries with products like SuperMilk, beans, beef jerky, rice, whole wheat pasta, oatmeal, recipe and sticker cards, and so much more to nourish our neighbors in South Central Idaho. We appreciate our volunteers all over the area coming together to support this shared mission.

The Idaho Foodbank's first year of CANtastic Creations in Twin Falls was a success! 🥫💥

Eight teams dedicated their time to creativity and community impact in the form of impressive sculptures made of canned products. Collectively, all 8,000+ cans were delivered to our local pantry partner, Mustard Seed, to serve our neighbors and fight hunger.

Not only was this event the perfect opportunity for our corporate community to give back, but it brought out some friendly competition to win some prestigious awards!
