A heartfelt thank you to the members of Impact Club Boise for the opportunity to share the TIP story and the work our volunteers do every day to provide emotional first aid to survivors of tragedy. We are deeply grateful for the chance to raise awareness about our mission and for the generous donation of $2,000 that will help us continue serving those facing some of life's most difficult moments.

Congratulations to Bustin Out of Boise for being selected as the recipient of the evening's grand award! Your work is making a meaningful difference in our community, and we are honored to have shared the stage with you.

To everyone who attended, listened, voted, and supported local nonprofits—thank you. Every opportunity to tell the TIP story helps us reach more people, recruit more volunteers, and ensure that no one has to face tragedy alone. To learn more about TIP check us out at tiptreasurevalley.org

With gratitude, The TIP Team

Broken can still grow beautiful things.

Every day, TIP volunteers meet people in some of the most broken moments of their lives—after a sudden death, tragic accident, su***de, overdose, fire, or other devastating crisis.

While we cannot take away the pain, we can offer compassion, hope, and human connection when it is needed most. Time and again, we witness incredible resilience as survivors begin to heal and find strength they never knew they had.

We believe that even in life's deepest cracks, beautiful things can still grow.

Tomorrow evening, our Executive Director has the incredible opportunity to represent Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) at Impact Boise!

Impact Boise brings together community members who each contribute $100 to support local nonprofits making a difference. Three organizations will share their mission (the rulers for presentation are 5 minutes on a microphone no notes and no props). After hearing from the 3 different nonprofit presenters, members will vote on how the funds are distributed.

We are honored to be one of this year's presenters and grateful for the chance to share how TIP volunteers provide emotional first aid and compassionate support to survivors in the darkest moments of their lives.
Whether we walk away with funding or simply greater awareness of our mission, we are thankful for the opportunity to tell the TIP story and connect with people who care deeply about strengthening our community.

Please join us in wishing TIP the best tomorrow night! Thank you, Impact Boise, for creating opportunities for nonprofits to be seen, heard, and supported.

Survivors are often navigating pain, trauma, exhaustion, and emotions that can make even well-meaning comments feel difficult in the moment. That doesn't necessarily mean anyone intended harm—it simply reflects the reality of how grief can affect the way we hear and process things. A little grace, understanding, and compassion on all sides can go a long way.

Sometimes the words people say don't tell the whole story.

Grief, trauma, loss, and crisis often live beneath the surface. Many people we meet have become experts at hiding their pain while carrying burdens that feel impossible to put into words.

A kind presence, a listening ear, and a moment of human connection can make a profound difference for someone struggling in silence.
Today, we encourage everyone to check in on the people they love. Ask the extra question. Stay a little longer. Listen a little deeper. Sometimes the strongest people are the ones quietly carrying the heaviest hearts.
