Cyber Tip Leads to Arrest of Caldwell Man on Child Exploitation Charges
On June 10, 2026, Caldwell Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located on the 20100 block of Lolo Avenue, leading to the arrest of a 67-year-old Caldwell man for possession of child sexual exploitation materials.
The investigation began in September 2025 after the Caldwell Police Department received information stemming from a tip generated by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip was initially investigated by the Spokane County Sheriff's Office , where investigators identified a potential connection to Caldwell and referred the case to the Caldwell Police Department for further investigation. Caldwell Police Detectives’ investigation ultimately led to the identification of Charles Bruce Williams, and the ex*****on of the search warrant and arrest.
Williams was arrested and booked into Canyon County Jail for Idaho Code 18-1507(2)(a) – sexual exploitation of a child by electronic means. This is an ongoing investigation.

Their meticulous investigation ensures that when this individual stands before a judge and jury, justice will be served swiftly and unconditionally.
