Hey everyone!
I just got confirmation that the "FlyBoys" out of Granbury are available for us on
November 14! I couldn't be more excited about this special event for our veterans and community!
Just wanted to let you know some great news.
Feel free to share.

They first flyover about 10:55 with a team and smoke behind them, then they come back around with the missing man formation after the National Anthem, sang by our beloved Joel Lagrone! 🥰🇺🇸

Save the date!

Talented group of civilian and former military aviators flying formation in Granbury, Texas. We fly for fun while honing our formation skills and also provide memorial fly overs. It is our honor to fly memorial and missing man fly-bys. Compliant with all FAR and CFR.

Our Veteran voice in Washington DC is stronger with every eligible member counted.

Who qualifies for the VFW?

To join you must meet both of these:

• Honorable service: Served in the U.S. Armed Forces and received an Honorable or General (Under Honorable Conditions) discharge, or are currently serving.

• Overseas / hostile service: Served in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters. This is typically proven by an authorized campaign medal, receipt of hostile fire or imminent danger pay, or service in Korea for 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days. If you served in a classified mission, we have the clearance and a process to verify your eligibility.

If someone doesn't qualify themselves but has a parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, sibling, or spouse who would be eligible, they may be eligible for the VFW Auxiliary.

See you at the VFW.

****I will be placing the final order before the ribbon cutting for memorial bricks on Friday, September 25th if you would like to honor a loved one and have it in place for the Ribbon Cutting in November.****

I have extended the next brick order for a couple more weeks. Is there anyone interested in honoring their loved one with a brick? I will add the link here.

Just a few more days until I send in the next brick order. Get yours before the Greater Meridian Ribbon Cutting of the Bosque County Veterans Memorial in November.
