Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association We help to create awareness around Down syndrome so that the whole community will accept and recognize the greatness we see in our loved ones.

Today the TVDSA continues to offer encouragement, support, and valuable information through meetings, community resources, books, newsletters, events, and more. We're a volunteer-managed organization funded by community support, grants, and our annual event, the Buddy Walk.

IDAHO GIVES STARTS TODAY! Today starts the largest giving campaign in the state of Idaho and we are excited to be a part of it! AIM Members! Sign up for our AIM May Service Project on Tuesday, May 5th from 9:45am - 12:00 pm. Our first service project of 2026, the Adults in Motion will be volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Boise. We are signed up to both prepare lunch (Hearty Tortilla Soup and a dessert), and help with various tasks around the house (may include cleaning, organizing, etc.).

We have to give a final head count a week in advance - so RSVP by April 28th.

There is a limit to the number of individuals in the kitchen - so when signing up, please indicate kitchen vs tasks. We will be assigning on a first come first serve basis. *THE KITCHEN IS OFFICIALLY FULL*.

Any parents/CSWs that want to volunteer too are welcome. Everyone that is there (participants or support) will need to sign the waiver to volunteer (see comments).

TVDSA MOMS! For May, TVDSA is inviting you to enjoy a mini spa session, snacks, and chit chat. We have an appointment booked for 20 people with various times between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. RSVP early to get the service and time you prefer. If we have more than 20 RSVPs, we can start a waiting list. Once Shavonne receives your RSVP, she will reach out to get your preferred service and time.
