Meet Logan, an incredible young man and one of our newest Fearless Outdoorsman hunters.

“On April 22, 2025, Logan woke up unable to fully use the left side of his body. His family rushed him to Driscoll Children’s Hospital, where doctors discovered a tumor in his spine that had affected seven vertebrae.
By the next morning, Logan was in surgery to relieve the pressure on his spinal cord. A week later, he was flown to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, where he underwent another major surgery to remove more of the tumor and rebuild his neck.
Logan was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma.
Since that day, he has endured multiple surgeries, 28 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, and continues to face complications including scoliosis, severe osteoporosis, and fractured vertebrae.
Through everything Logan has faced, one thing has never changed his love for the outdoors.
Hunting and fishing have been a part of Logan’s life for as long as he can remember. There’s nowhere he’d rather be than in the woods or on the water with a fishing pole in his hand.”

And now, Logan is headed to Eastern Oregon an ELK HUNT!
We are incredibly honored to be a small part of giving Logan something exciting to look forward to and the opportunity to make memories that have nothing to do with hospitals, treatments or cancer.

A HUGE thank you to Timber Tiger Lodge and Scheels Meridian-Boise SCHEELS for helping make this incredible experience possible. It takes some pretty amazing people coming together to make these dream hunts happen, and we are so grateful for your generosity and support of Logan.

Logan, Eastern Oregon is waiting for you. Let’s go find you an elk!

This is what Fearless Outdoorsman is all about making outdoor dreams come true, one incredible kid at a time.

Senior Chief (Retired) Jason H. is a 100% disabled veteran who devoted more than twenty years to the United States Navy, serving across multiple ships, deployments, and high-impact leadership roles. A Minnesota native, he enlisted in 2004 and went on to complete two overseas deployments aboard USS Halsey (DDG-97) in support of U.S. Special Operations, including missions in the South China Sea and the Horn of Africa. His career included recruiting leadership, ship commissioning, recruit training, and senior enlisted responsibility aboard USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD-28), where he guided engineering readiness and the professional development of his Sailors.

His personal awards including the Navy Commendation Medal with two gold stars, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one silver star, multiple warfare qualifications, and the Master Training Specialist designation reflect a career defined by mentorship, technical excellence, and unwavering commitment to the fleet.

Today, Senior Chief (Retired) Jason H. continues to serve his community through veteran support, mental health advocacy, and suicide-prevention efforts. He is an avid outdoorsman whose lifelong dream has been a mountain elk hunt.

Fearless Outdoorsman is honored to stand beside him as he takes on that dream. Thanks to the generosity of Fearless Outdoorsman’s donors, this hunt includes a gifted r***e to equip him for success. R***e Guru Several of our board members and volunteers are also joining the effort, providing guidance, logistics, and on-the-ground support to ensure this experience reflects the respect and gratitude he has earned through decades of service.

This hunt is more than an adventure. It is camaraderie, healing, and the celebration of a warrior who never stops showing up for others.

Please join us in giving a big Fearless welcome to Braylee! We are so excited to have her as one of our 2026 Fearless Hunters.

This September, Braylee will be heading into the Owyhee Mountains for an unforgettable elk hunt! We can’t wait to follow along as she takes on this incredible adventure and makes memories that will last a lifetime.

Braylee’s mom shared this with us, and we are honored to share a little more of Braylee’s story with all of you:

“At 13 years old, she is already proving just how strong and determined she can be. She loves to draw, camp, swim, listen to music, and spend time doing the things that make her happy. She is a hard worker who takes on all advanced classes at school, and this year she is stepping onto the volleyball court and taking on a whole new challenge.

Since she was 5 years old, she has also faced something most kids her age never have to think about living with Type 1 Diabetes. Every single day comes with things other kids don’t have to worry about: checking blood sugar, counting carbohydrates, managing insulin, navigating highs and lows, and dealing with the exhaustion and frustration that can come with a disease that never takes a day off and was not brought on by any choice of her own but rather an autoimmune attack that destroyed her pancreas.

But she doesn’t let it define her.

She shows up. She keeps going. She learns, grows, laughs, dreams, and tackles each new challenge with determination. Some days are harder than others, but every day she battles through it with a strength that amazes me.

She is smart. She is creative. She is compassionate. She is determined. She is strong.

And most of all, she is my beautiful warrior❤️.”

A huge THANK YOU to Scheels for helping make Braylee’s adventure even more special with an incredible shopping spree to outfit her for her hunt! Your generosity and support mean so much to Braylee and to all of us at Fearless Outdoorsman. We are so grateful for businesses like Scheels who step up and help make these dreams possible.
